@goldenelementxl: i'm not going to pretend to know the ends and outs of a acquisition deal the size and scope of Activision/Blizzard.. And Call of Duty is a game they have already said will contractually be still available on Playstation.. Heck, Deathloop still isn't in Game Pass yet.. So if the deal closes and they can't get Call of Duty available in Game Pass for whatever reason, that's not a sign that the Game Pass model isn't sustainable.. It could be just the timing of everything.. Now, if Call of Duty isn't available in Game Pass next year, you'd have a point.. But unfortunately you won't be here 🤷🏽‍♂️

And the roadmap for Game Pass is clear.. All the games announced for the service from Xbox Games Studios in the next 12 months will be available Day One.. The Game Pass model has not changed by the end of this year..

I own 2 Xbox Series X consoles. I own a Series S console. I am a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. Those don't seem like things a person with a hatred for Xbox would spend money on... I was called a Lem all of gen 7. I've owned every Xbox console. I've owned at least 2 every gen since the 360. I STILL own the HD-DVD attachment... And you say I have a hatred for Xbox???

The problem is I'm not a cult member like some of you. Spending all your free time playing freelance PR for Xbox. The Activision deal, just like the Bethesda deal, is intended to bring content to Game Pass.. If Xbox could have Call of Duty on Game Pass day one this holiday, they clearly would.. That's why you spend over 70 billion dollars on Activision..

If Call of Duty misses Game Pass this year its not because the Game Pass model has changed, it's because of behind-the-scene issues with the contractual obligations/acquisition/timing.. We both know this.. At least man up and go out on your shield..
