Looks like Demons Souls is shaping up to be the best game this year. It might not actually win best game of the year (because of lack of hype), but it may actually end up truly being the best game this year.

And of course it's only on PS3 8)

I wouldn't doubt it. Demons Souls looks like an absolutely incredible game!!

Well it deserves it just hope that people in the west appreciate this game and buy it or it will be another great game that dont sell well in the west like Yakuza, and its sequels wont be localized.

yes i do agree.. its easily one of the best game ive played this gen.. but rumors says US version is much easier than asian ver. not sure though.

Well it deserves it just hope that people in the west appreciate this game and buy it or it will be another great game that dont sell well in the west like Yakuza, and its sequels wont be localized.

I dont think its even that supported in Asia, let alone what it will be like here.

But i do agree with you on that we need to support more great games such as Yakuza and Demons Souls.

I'm pretty excited for the game. So far Persona 4 is my personal favorite RPG this gen, but Demon's Souls is looking pretty awesome.

I actually imported it, only played a little, and then sold it so I could recoop my money (which I did actually) to preorder the Deluxe edition. Can't wait. Hard as hell though.

This game is just so amazing. I'm gonna hate seeing bad reviews because it's "too hard"

With all the great reviews its getting Demons Souls is really catching my attention. I may just buy this game.

As I stated 2 months ago, it is the best RPG and it's better than the best 3 combined on the 360.

I hope it receives a 10/10 everywhere, so we can have 2 10s. If it were to receive a 10 it just may sway some fans of other systems to get PS3? Maybe.

Yes, but Demon's Souls is genius in it's brutality. As it forces you to simply think, learn from your mistakes and adapt....or die. It is merely a design that makes you a better, more cautious gamer. It is never cheap, you always die from your own mistakes and you will make A LOT of them.

Make no mistake, though, the game is a serious time sink because of this. If you like games to hold your hand a bit or you simply do not have the time and patience to devote to it, then this one is definitely not going to be for you. However, the game is indeed a work of art in it's design and we rarely see games as unique as this on consoles anymore.

It is the best RPG this gen, but boy is it a pain.

Ok, Ill explain it to you. I honestly hope not all cows think Live is 50$ a month. Its not. Second, they dont even make the HD player anymore.

I will give you HD player, and WIFI, But Ps3 gives you the option to play online to, it's just free which ever you choose;)

Back on topic it sounds like an interesting Game, just don't hope i Will get to frustrated with it:)

And since a lot of games follow the trend of going Xbox 360 first, and then PC, I don't like waiting so I just have that option available

money is the most useless thing i can even think of to bring up here, i've payed double (at least, maybe even more) what my hardware costs have been this gen in games alone

looks cool. little too steep of a learning curve for my tastes, though.

Sorry, I don't like this game. It's just a chore to play. Glad others do, though.

I recall seeing the preview on GT, and I love the idea of becoming a "shadow", and going to kill another player to regain your body.

This game looks sick! I appreciate a difficult game as long as it is not cheap. I am going to import it and give it a whirl. This game punishes you. If you do something wrong, you pay. It's not cheap at all, it just makes you use your mind constantly, unlike many games nowadays.
