New gameplay of Far Cry 3 [PS3]. Graphics are impressive

I don't see what's the hype about this game. E3 did nothing but lower the expectation I have for it.

Had high hopes until the recent footage. My main draw was Vass, but I'm over it, to say the least. I'm gonna pass on this one.

I prefer lesser known activities while wearing hipster glasses, and I exclusively play obscure European titles on PC from the 90's.

FC3 is the only FPS I'll buy this year. It looks a lot of fun. jackfruitchips

Its not the only one I'll get, but if I HAD to get only one, it would be FC3. Medal of Honor has a lot to prove and isn't convincing me it will be something crazy unique or stellar, Black Ops 2 looks fun, but a little too over the top and E3 did not show off the best new stuff, and Dishonored is technically not an FPS.

I'm impressed. Let's hope the framerate will be decent though, although it looks smooth in the video so that's a good thing, but it's hard to tell from a video.

Well, I loved Far Cry 1, even though the story was a joke, because the gameplay was so awesome and open. If this actually delivers gameplay that's open on a similar scale in that gorgeous jungle setting, I'll get it eventually. Didn't get far cry 2 mostly because I didn't care for the setting.

I bet these graphics will be nothing to praise about, when the 360 version comes out looking exactly as good or slightly better :P

This has the potential to be the best FPS of the year IMO, but only IF they do it right. Which I'm being cautious about because I was disappointed with the first 2 Far Cry games.

The PS3 version will have extra content though, so that will be the better version. Otherwise they will be identical.
