[QUOTE="Rikusaki"]So is the forza demo. So, I'll be absent in that dsicussion. I know, bummer right?TGS is only four days away. Let's try to not make another GT5 vs. Forza thread until then. ;)

I am sure it was planned, they are trying to steal each others thunder:P
Lol at how unrealisticly the concrete barriers moved.
MEGA FAIL!
That was a joke post, I promise. I just thought i'd be funny to be that skewed fanboy with the forza avatar for a sec there. Even if you are joking it was still weird to see those barriers just fly out of the way like that, seeing on how they are usually concrete. I'm sure its a design choice and not a limitation of the game but still a weird design choice.Lol at how unrealisticly the concrete barriers moved.

In GT defense, I would rather have super light conrete barriers, than super heavy ones, that kids can push into the middle of corners for you to hit, and crash. In GT defense, I would rather have super light conrete barriers, than super heavy ones, that kids can push into the middle of corners for you to hit, and crash.Tobin09
never thought of that, you must be quite the trickster on the race course to come up with something like that so fast:P

What if the track editor let you add more concrete barriers? That would be fun. :PThat's what I thought o_o... I'm pretty sure it is to be honest, there is no difference. It's same as GamesCom :(

Guyz i got a question for all of you , oh mighty racing genre fans....
Since when DAMAGE >>> EVERYTHING else?...
I mean what GT5 or Forza etc missing with some awesome tracks , cars , graphics in general , real physics for each car , thousands of cars , official tracks and cars etc etc...
I mean , WHAT do you want , real damage?!!! Then sorry , but if a car hits a wall with more than 200km per hour the REAL damage will be ... well.. car wont be a car anymore... YOU WONT be able to play!! ...Really...
So in the end there isnt a REAL damage or realistic damage to begin with... I see people saying over and over... Damage is bad .. damage is this .. damage is that....
I mean , you got so good and excellent racing game , where most of racing games for more than 10 years now aint got realistic damage , now damage >>> everything else?...
Will you wake up please?...
if i hit the wall at 200 i expect to have to restartThe car looks relatively undamaged, I'll stick to GTR Evolution thank you very much :)JigglyWiggly_2 years and still going strong, WHO will be playing GT5 in 2 years?
The only people that actually care about car damage are the people who are awful at driving games and crash all the time. I don't see a problem with the car damage, the only reason the car damage is bought up is because 360 fans know this is the only category their beloved Forza might have the edge over GT5 in.. Gotta love how they are desperately hanging onto it even though the damage in Forza 2 was awful and we haven't seen much damage from Forza 3.PS_Johni'm going to address this one because i see the "you are a bad driver" defense used all the time to defend GT and all it shows is that you have no clue what you are talking about.
good drivers want damage because it penalizes the guys that slam into you and the walls to win races.
dirt 2 even puts a red skull next to the guys that drive like this so you know who they are in the lobby and can watch out for their dirty tactics
you can tell yourself some self serving bit of nonsense if it makes you feel better but the guys that know what's up with online racing welcome anything that hurts the no talent racers
That damage is terrible, and the doors flapping around is going to be really annoying if you aren't in the cockpit view. They shouldn't have bothered because that was a waste of man hours if you ask me.bobbetybobit's only on like an eighth of the cars, so it's no biggie,
What if the track editor let you add more concrete barriers? That would be fun. :PRikusaki
I'm a little surprised, how the announcement of FM3, has kinda swayed the general system wars to what seems to me like forza's favor, Both gets tons of hate, But at very least they are considered equal here at system wars,6 months ago, it would have been acompletely different story.
Sad how it took pretty graphics to do that, Forza 2 didn't get the hype it deserved, all becouse it wasn't super good looking.
Even though, we still have the uniformed like this.forza fanboys on high alert, GT5 damage in its initial stage, not to mention where is the forza 3 damage??? GT5 offers more driving features in terms of races while forza allows me to put graphics on cars? ill pick the race options thank you very much

It didn't look bad. Those were most likely foam barriers. Why the hell would they be concrete?TREAL_Since

For the very smart people who said that he didnt lose speed when he hit the car at the end... Look at the video again. IT obvious his subaru spins which indeed you do lose speed in which the car did, he speed back up after he spun. All this hate is hilarious.
wow that looks so good, the damage is amazing in this game compared to what forza 2 had. and as for forza 3 all weve seen is bumpercars so far. forza WHO?sexxxyboy
No sure if serious? If you are then. roflmbolollawls  :|
