@Pedro: Why are you always making things so complicated? I think the game looks cartoony and don't like it. That's all I'm saying. That wasn't my screenshot but it served a point, a point you clearly didn't get. I wasn't trying to compare graphics. I was showing the contrast between art styles. When there's multiple articles on this game, and many posters here have commented on it, I'm gonna chime in too with my opinion. It was obviously a big deal since they even admitted it and delayed the game. So explain how this is good for gamers that arent over the age of 25 or so? The gamers that started the halo series with halo 4. Not everyone is old gamers like us. Not sure why anyone would want a game looking like old outdated graphics just so it can run at 120fps with the majority of gamers not even owning a tv that supports that but can say "But this is what halo use to look like.... nostalgia."

Complicated? Maybe you should consider what you are typing.

You are free to like or dislike any game. You are free to have an opinion about any game and anything. However, opinions don't overrule reality. Halo Infinite is objectively not cartoony, it is just stylized like the earlier entries in the series. If you want cartoony, refer to Borderlands. You can't compare graphics and then say you aren't trying to compare graphics immediately afterwards. 😊

I don't need to state how this good for gamers over 25, you are the one who made the claim "Not so good for gamers that have been fans starting in 2012 with the series." so you should explaining the logic behind that. For someone who claims that they weren't trying to compare graphics, you are spending the majority of your time doing just that. Feel free to share your thoughts on how Halo's graphics is "not so goof" for gamers.

@Pedro: Comparing art style is not the same as comparing graphics. No offense, but I feel like I'm talking to a wall, so I think im done trying to explain my OPINION to you. I kinda feel like you forget not everything stated in this forum has to be exactly correct, by Webster's definition, and we can all come here to express our opinions on gaming topics. I clearly said my comments were my opinion. You cannot tell me my opinion is wrong because in YOUR opinion the art style doesn't look cartoony. You might want to look up what opinion actually means. If we're only allowed to state cold hard facts on this forum, well then I'm out. But I doubt that's the case.

@joshrmeyer: i think the point he's making is that having a green space marine fighting armored aliens with laser guns has always been the art style.. it's never looked hyper realistic and has never intended to look hyper realistic.. basically, "it looks like Halo"..

343's art direction in Halo 4 and 5 was a change but neither of those games looked "realistic".. in the case of Halo Infinite, they're just making the art direction more in line with Halo CE..

So if you don't like the way Halo Infinite looks, essentially you never liked how any Halo game looked.. Halo Infinite doesn't have "outdated graphics" because the art style is based upon the art style of Halo CE..

Saying something looks cartoonish can be opinion but that opinion can clash with basic facts. Using "my opinion" is not a defense to objective truth. It can be your opinion that 32 degrees Fahrenheit isn't freezing but you will be objectively wrong. The same applies here. Cartoons have a very specific stylization which Halo factually doesn't have. I explained this to you but you are running to the failed use of "it is my opinion". Art style and graphic style is all interchangeable. Is it really that hard to use words correctly? So, if you are comparing graphics you are comparing art style and everything that graphics encompasses.

As I have stated before "You are free to like or dislike any game. You are free to have an opinion about any game and anything. However, opinions don't overrule reality." I would still like to know how the return to the original art style/graphics (😉) is not good for gamers.

@Pedro: I'm glad I have your permission to post my opinion on here, thanks. That 32 degrees being freezing thing is a factual statement. If I said that 32 didnt feel cold, that'd be my opinion. If I say this game looks cartoony to me, that's my opinion. Not hard to understand. You should really just leave people and their opinions alone and stop trying to correct everyone. This isn't Pedrospot.

My permission? 😂 I was stating a fact bud, just like I was stating a fact that your opinion is false and you stating it is your opinion doesn't change the facts. I would still like to know how the return to the original art style/graphics (😉) is not good for gamers.

@Pedro: Opinions cannot be true nor false. I already answered that question. I said certain gamers... gamers that are used to the way halo 4 and 5 look. They are probably the ones complaining. This wouldn't be good for them. Itd be good for gamers that liked the way the original halos looked.

Yes! It can, as I have demonstrated earlier with a simple temperature analogy. Opinions can be factually false statements.

Thanks for the response to the question, for I did not see your response to question and I wasn't aware that you were specifically referring to certain type of gamer because your initial statement was non specific.

@Pedro: Google is your friend...:"A fact is a statement that can be proven true or false. An opinion is an expression of a

person’s feelings that cannot be proven."

Back to your analogy... As I've already said. Water freezes at 32 degrees is not an opinion but a fact. "32 degrees does not feel cold" is an opinion. Done going in circles with you on a pointless subject. This is almost as bad as when you were trying to say the world was factually wrong in saying that PS Plus members get 2 free games each month. Not worth arguing/discussing irrelevant topics like these.

You really trying to hide behind your opinion but as stated before it doesn't change facts, no mater how you spin it.. The fact is simple, Halo Infinite is not cartoonish. If you want cartoonish, I refer you to Borderlands and XIII.

It is factually wrong to say that PS Plus member get 2 free games because membership requires payment. 😂

Don't struggle with the basics man.
