New here. Would like to know everyone's gaming history and why

I started with :

NES : I played mostly Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 2 and 3. I also played a lot of Mega Man 2-3-4-5

SNES : Mega Man X -X2, Super Mario All Stars, Street Fighter II Turbo, Mortal Kombat 2, Killer Instinc and I remember Final Fantasy II

Playstation : Resident Evil 1 and 2, Destruction Derby 2, Ridge Racer 2, Tekken 1 and 2, Final Fantasy VII and Tactics and a shit load of very crappy game like Load and ReLoad ... All my friends had a N64 so I played Mario 64, Killer Instinc 2 ( which was super crappy ), Doom 64, Golden Eye 64

PC : Star Craft, WarCraft 2, Diablo, Doom, Quake, Unreal

PS2 : Final Fantasy X, X2 and XII, Tekken Tag, Mortal Kombat Deception, Resident Evil 4, GTA Vice City, Devil May Cry 3 and the Mega Man collection

GameCube ( at the same time as the PS2 ) : Pikmin, Super Mario Sunshine, Star Fox, Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness, Wave Race

X360 ( for a year ) : Halo 3, Gears Of War, Fallout 3, Street Fighter 4, Orange Box,

PS3 : Fallout 3, Final Fantasy XII trilogy, God Of War Collection, Ni No Kuni, Journey, Borderlands 2

Vita : Tearaway, Persona 4 Golden, Killzone Mercenaries, Soul Sacrifice

3DS : Pokémon X and Omega Ruby, Legend Of Zelda A Link Between World, Persona Q, Bravely Default

WiiU : Super Mario U, Super Mario World, Splatoon, CapitainToad, Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8, Shovel Knight, Legend Of Zelda WindWaker

PS4 : Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Batman Arkham knight, Borderland The Handsome Collection, Mega Man Collection and The Last of Us

My gaming history.

Started with an NES. Then came the N64 (Had some classics), followed by a PS (It was alright), then came the Dreamcast (Golden gem of a system), Xbox OG (One of my favorites), PS2 (If you had an Xbox it was practically useless), Xbox 360 (If it didn't break left and right could have been the GOAT), Xbox One (under appreciated system by the masses because of the hate from the E3 2012 or 13.) And general PC enthusiast since whenever.

Had the Colecovision, then Sega Genesis (Yep, I skipped the 8 bit gen), then I bought a 3DO and SNES on the same day. Then it was Playstation followed by Dreamcast. After that it was Xbox and then Xbox 360. I haven't gotten a gen 8 console yet but intend to get both X1 and PS4 probably before the year is out.

Pretty simple history on my end. Started with Gameboy in the last early 90's, picked up SNES and Sega Genesis, few years later got my hands on PS1 and 3DO. When PS2 was released, build by first PC and had the console with it until 2008. At that point picked up PS3 and today I'm primary gaming on the PS4 and 3DS.

Not much time to really dedicate to the games to be honest, with family and 50 hours a week work time is little sparse. :)

Started gaming pretty later, around 14. First system was the N64. Fav system is the original Xbox. Owned an 64, then xbox, GC, 360 (three 360's to be exact, thanks rrod), ps3 and now a ps4 and a pc since 2011.

@njricand: I started out with Odyssey (Magnavox), Pong (Atari), Telstar (Coleco), Intellivision, NES, Gameboy, Sega Genesis, SNES, N64, Gameboy Color, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, Nintendo DS, PSP, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, 3DS, Vita, WiiU, PS4, Xbox One, NN3DSXL.

@360ru13r: well I'm Amish and in a old age home. Kinda hard to keep up with the times. I hear the Internet will be big if it catches on.

I agree. As you/we get older out time with gaming takes back stage to the more important things in life (working,family ect). I still try an get my time in tho. It's my stress reliever so the family understands. I ended up going with the Atari jaguar instead of the 3DO. Either way I went it's a loss. They both sucked lol. Anyways, thanks for taking time to post on my thread. That goes for everyone who did as well.
