I think it will be a great game, but I love the franchise.

Looks very good.....I just hated Infamous 2, so I'm not too hyped for this yet.

Running like the flash with that neon goodness, gonna be great.

........I just can't. The superhero genre needs a shot in the arm badly. Will Second Son be it? I highly doubt it.

I feel the same way. To me, the franchise feels like its missing that "it" factor, and it reminds me a lot of the AC franchise, for that reason.

Second Son will probably be another mediocre game for what has been an underwhelming PS4 library, so far. Nonetheless, the game should at least look pretty good visually.

Looks nice, I just hope the game ends up being more than just "look how fancy our particle effects are" though. Some of the footage of people actually playing the game looks a bit bland, but it might just be a lack of unlocks/powers and their unfamiliarity with the game.

I really want this to be stellar.

Infamous has so far been the perfect GTA for me, since I don't appreciate the actual GTA.

it's going to be a blast and maybe even a reason to finally pick up a ps4.

I wouldn't mind the low scoring reviews. God knows we could use some honesty and fair criticism with regard to game reviews, but sometimes it seems like his complaints about parts of games are simply factually incorrect--as if he didn't spend enough time playing the game to know its mechanics.

Have to admit. I wasn't super excited for this game. But I kinda enjoyed the first and REALLY enjoyed the 2nd, so my hype meter is climbing for sure

Me too. Infamous 1 was fun and fresh. Infamous 2 was the same game with a couple of different powers. Hopefully, this game is fresh. Its way too early to tell now, but Insomniac is a B developer in my book, so I would expect an 8 outta this game. Obviously, I'm pulling a score outta my backside.

Love teh bullshots with no UI at all. I liked Infamous 1, but I suspect this one won't be any different in gameplay.

The colours are real nice but it won't look that crisp and clean by launch.

They keep releasing bullshots, the site linked in the OP resized them. Some of them were 4k shots (posted on GAF) and some shots from a while ago were 6k.

Not really sure what those neon powers are used for? They look cool though I guess.

This is the game that will make me get a PS4. Can't wait.

Graphically and gameplay wise, this game looks awesome.

That said, there is one MAJOR problem I have the game from all the media I've seen.

The psuedo-punk, hipster, smart-ass main character is going to drive me insane in 15 minutes unless they dial down on his dialogue.

Yeah, I get it. They wanted an "edgy" character that people wouldn't label as "bland"...but I fear that this guy is going to drive me nuts.

Same, I haven't liked a single showing of him so far. Even how he looks annoys me lol

I bet you'll see him on a skateboard in the game at some point

Amazing looking! The very first open world game on next gen console to do 1080p & 60fps. A 3 hour linear game like Ryse struggles to do that.

Looks like a 2012/2013 PS3/360 game with some fancier lighting effects. Textures are still pretty washed out, depth of field blurs pretty much everything beyond a short distance (a wonderful trick to hide lower res/poly stuff at distance) and a lot of the environment models and effects (light streams and bullet trails) are two dimensional.

I wish people would stop focusing on graphical fidelity, the PS4 and Xbone are going to be very underwhelming to anyone with a decent PC that can run Crysis or newer. inFAMOUS has great gameplay, why not talk about that? We don't have enough games these days with excellent gameplay.
