Never had high hopes for MAG

But Starhawk (Warhawk sequal )now that game will be unmissable.

The review basically bashes it because the console community will not understand how to play the game properly, the concept will be really strange and hard to understand for consolites and apparently the game doesn't have enough to support itself if not played properly.

I don't have to "act" they freaking review non-sony games and games not appearing on Sony's console as well as provide coverage on Non-Sony games as well.

Seriously if you would browse the site for 5 minutes you could see that. Not to mention that their reviews aren't out of the ordinary score wise. You haven't proved any bias at all from thesixthaxis and I don't expect that you can because its not there.

Well, frankly, between NowGamer and Destructoid I'm more inclined to trust NowGamer. No surprise that MAG is flopping. It never had a lot of buzz in the press.Cherokee_Jack

anyway....I suggest others read this "review"....not really a review, 98% of it was a complaint about how they didn't know what to do, and felt Zipper didn't make this Noob Friendly.

I am serious.... read it, anyone, that is the only thing they really touch on.... they don't talk about how smooth it runs....they don't talk about Graphics....they don't talk about its features, weapons, etc......all they talk about is how MAG doesn't "explain" itself......um.. ok NowGamer... I can't believe I clicked their link.... also since it wasn't really a review about the game, how did they come to the conclusion of giving it any score...they should have left it blank or incomplete....put no, they put on their thinking hats and analysed the game deeply and came to the conclusion of the precise score of 6 point 8. Brilliant....haha

after reading NowGamer's review....and I'm presuming you read the Destructiod one as well...or it would be folish of you to be "inclined" to trust one over the other if you haven't read both....but either way, I think you are a smart guy and you did read both....so....what made you trust NowGamer's review more than Destructoid (which really did a good job explaining their review)

These score are what I expected and an A game doesn't mean terrible to me like it does for others. The American grading system where 7 = C isn't how it really is.

7 = Good, not average like a C would suggest. And of course the more reviews the better but simply because a site or mag covers only one console doesn't mean that they are inherently biased as some would suggest. I'm not saying there aren't *****ty websites and magazines but research and comparison of scores are needed to make a final judgment on whether or not a site is worth taking into account or disregarding.

I think the fact that it's just a rote multiplayer shooter with no personality is a little more important in the scoring. Mass Effect 2 though... that game makes me want to drop 500 bucks to build a PC.

These score are what I expected and an A game doesn't mean terrible to me like it does for others. The American grading system where 7 = C isn't how it really is.

• Audacious premise some will fall into and never re-surface from.
• Not another typical FPS; takes chances and pulls most off with aplomb.
• Promotes smart play and a collaborative effort, embracing the future of gaming as being online.
• Deep immersion.
• Huge scope for re-playability and customisation.

That's enough for me.

I actually haven't read either review. I'm just biased against Destructoid because I hate them.

can't believe people are honestly anti hyping a game. This is truly fanboy at its worst. I said it with halo 3 odst, and I will say this for MAG. If you are a COW, or LEMMIGN hype a game you like. Instead of this bs "oh it is only online game" it will be marked dowwn, or this game graphics are bad. Either hype the game for whether you like it is or stop predicting gamespot reviews. I enjoyed the beta and am hyping the game for good numbers because what I've played was quality.

I think you got it wrong. That is exactly the problem. The console community has grown because of games like MW2 and all the noobs a game like this attracts to gaming. Their arguments say that this kind of players will most probably will never take the time to learn how to play a game like M.A.G properly. So basically it's similar to when people don't get games like Farcry, Crysis or Stalker, because they are used to stuff like Halo, Resistance or MW.

Umm are posters now just grabing reviews from anywhere they can. I mean majority of people never heard of this site.
