[QUOTE="swaginator"][QUOTE="Dualshockin"][QUOTE="mangobear"]Apparently they're not from a early build, they're just from a build that isn't quite running all of the texture maps correctly or something.[QUOTE="blurb1324"][QUOTE="mangobear"]That looks aweful. Why do they release bad screens, then claim that they're from an early build just to quiet the criticism? Why show early screenshots so close to the release of the game?Dualshockin
Either way, the pictures don't look good and I'm sure the Bioware team knows this. I'm just tired of devs releasing screenshots that make the game look worse and then come out and say "Hey its not finished yet guys, give us a break". If they don't have anything worthwile to show, they shouldn't show anything at all IMO.
I know exactly what you're saying, the Forza team did the same,as well as Bungie... Mass Effect will without a doubt look good, but it wont look anywhere close to the earlier screenshots.Just like Lair used to look? Remember these?Â
Â
What happended too this? DOWNGRADE!!!
Or what about these?

Whats funny is the latest Lair pics>>>>latest Mass Effect pics lol Lair is a taste of the what the Ps3 can do,and quite frankly,it tastes good. I needed a good laugh. Thanks.Gamespot MASSIVELY compressed those screens. Blockiness galore.
The Cows are going to be the one's who get owned when Bioware show another Video, WE are the one's who are going to be laughing, and I cant freaking wait.
[QUOTE="mangobear"]Only a Pc can run the old Mass Effect screenshots, and even then it would have very high system requirements. Like I said,Mass Effect will look good. But IMO there's really no way the 360 can do such amazing graphics with the current hardware.[QUOTE="Dualshockin"][QUOTE="mangobear"]How exactly are you going to prove that? I know the game will look better as they optimize it, and as Bioware's Community Coordinator said on their forums many times, the screenshots aren't representative of the final product. I'm just curious, what proof do you have that the screenshots in this thread are a representation of the final game?Dualshockin
Thats quite odd, considering that the earlier gameplay videos look exactly like the early screenshots. (But then again, I'm not sure which screenshots you're talking about) As for the rest of your statement, you're going to have to provide a link to prove any of that, since it seems a tad farfetched.
I was talking about the latest game pics released by Bioware, the ones from the final version of the game.Well then you're misinformed, since Chris pointed out in that forum that every picture they've released has been a screen grab directly from the game. And I still need a link proving that a PC with high system requirements is needed to run those screenshots.

Look them up,then tell me the game looks the same from before.
[QUOTE="Radeon_X1950XTX"][QUOTE="Dualshockin"][QUOTE="Radeon_X1950XTX"][QUOTE="Dualshockin"]tbey are the same, just different lights one bright one dark .faled Oh the irony... oh the idiot Since I was the one who couldnt spell "Failed" and "They",right  ?Which one looks better?Dualshockin
He´s right, both models are very well made, what, did you want every area in the game to have blooming light, just like Oblivion?

I'll take Bioware's words over yours (no offense). You are aware that some parts of the game aren't fully optimized yet? Every screen shot (including the good ones) have been direct screen grabs from the game running on the 360 in real time. So that can only mean, that the game is still not finished and in the optimizing stage. And I still need a link proving that a PC with high system requirements is needed to run those screenshots while the 360 can't.

As for the link,we'll have to wait for the official Mass Effect for Pc announcement, then the high requirements will be revealed.
"He´s right, both models are very well made, what, did you want every area in the game to have blooming light, just like Oblivion?" hes just desperate for owning someoneRadeon_X1950XTX
Are you refering to me? I´m not trying to own anybody, I was just stating that both models look good, besides, one is a closer look at the models than the other...
Oblivion has techno lights everywhere, that´s a fact, just see how a white armor shines with a burning light such as a torch...

In other words, you have absolutely no proof for anything you've said so far with regards to the quality of Mass Effect when it is completed.Â

im talking about the idiotoh, my mistake then :P, anyway, if Mass Effect manages to deliver the Highly detailed facial expressions as Bioware claims they will I´m gonna be a happy gamer...

And where is your proof that the game will look absolutely better when it releases?Provide final screenshots of the retail product, since you seem to have the proof? The thing is,the latest screenshots of the final product disagree with your logic.[QUOTE="Radeon_X1950XTX"][QUOTE="conradgeneral"][QUOTE="Radeon_X1950XTX"]"He´s right, both models are very well made, what, did you want every area in the game to have blooming light, just like Oblivion?" hes just desperate for owning someoneDualshockin

(ill stop with name calling since you said that nicely) but i said, im not claiming ownage, you are trying to though, if your going to get better screens otherwise i do not feel owned at all[QUOTE="web966"]Thta looks really bad. Every screenshot Bioware releases is a screengrab from the game running on the 360. As you can see, some parts are done, others are not optimized, and according to Bioware, everything will be optimized to look as good or better than the screenshot I've posted. Now, where is your proof that the game will ship with downgraded graphics?
[QUOTE="Dualshockin"][QUOTE="-KinGz-"][QUOTE="Dualshockin"][QUOTE="Radeon_X1950XTX"] 1. your 13 years old... and 2, if your trying to claim ownage do it properly, not getting some bad blured screenshot, i remember before gears was released you kept using the same screenshots over and over again, to claim ownage-KinGz-Whatever helps you sleep better at night lol. Gears looks great, but like I previously stated,it is no match for Lair. There's too much blur and bloom in Gears,it doesnt look natural. LAIR LOOKS HORRID from what we have seen, AND i bet u haven't played GeOW, BLOOM, Blur? wth If Lair looks horrid then Gears looks like trash, since it does look better than Gears..... What I dont get is,why people are denying the downgrade? It doesnt look that bad. GeOW completely beats the crap out of lair there, don't lie to urself.
Â
why is that the only great game on the 360 that looks good is gears of war?
Remember the cow turds saying GeOW was downgraded? :roll:Fruity_Fantasygeow was severely downgraded. it still looks good. but not like the first set of bullshots from e3, not even close.
