Ah Bon Dieu! The PS3 version looks better than the 360 version, GS said it and so did IGN get over it!! BTW the PC especially with mods and a top of the line machine will always outperform consoles. So if graphics are that important to you then go get a gaming PC.

This game was never a looker in the first place. WoW looks better then this actually. oh and do jaggies on a 360 port to PS3 cancel out the fact that GTHD blows everythin on earth out of the water? no

Eww those jaggies do look horrible,but everything else seems to look the same,although in the second picture it seems HDR or the bloom effect seems to be taken out?

It looks awful,but the proof of the pudding so to speak is if the game runs smoother than the 360 version,even if it doesn't look as good.

My top of the line pc didnt outpeform my 400 dollar 360 on SC.Da. So no if you like graphcis get the version of the game that it was built ground up for.

Its a screenshot so it will almost always look jaggie like that. Remember how people said Gears was really jaggie, but once it came out it looked amazing.

According to every preview it looks better then the 360 version lets get over it and move on. I own the 360 version and im not going to rebuy it for a few graphical upgrades and faster load times. But it doesnt change the fact the PS3 version looks better.

You guys are nuts man, Ps3 Oblivion has no AA, which means it looks worse!! The previews stating the Ps3 version looks better was before the fact that they knew the 360 was getting a patch to update the distant textures, IGN proves this!! They came out and said the ps3 version had the better distant textures, then a few days later they wrote another article stating the graphical enhancement is coming to the 360! So therefore its not going to look better on ps3! It may load a few seconds quicker, but it won't have the AA the 360 has!

No matter how much you tell the cows, they will deny it. Its sad really. Sony didnt deliver with the ps1, 2, and now 3 graphically, but cows still swear to sony.

Are you kidding me? The draw distance graphics are a little better for the ps3 and will be patched in for the 360, and the wate most definitly looks better on the 360, without a doubt.

Funny, they said they had plans to make all versions equal, and to release shivering later on (and no, i'm not looking for the video to prove it to you, maybe someone kind enough will, but since you pull info of your arse i dont care). That is also incorrect. They couldnt put the DLC in because it would have screwed up the mechanics of the game for lowbies. But with regards to the expansion there are distribution issues on Sony's end, and Sony being as stubborn as it is will undoubtedly prolong shivering isles translation to the ps3, if the ps3 is ever able to get it.

Hines: Yes, we do intend to release The Shivering Isles expansion for PlayStation 3 at some point this year. I can't tell you how or when right now, but it is definitely in our plans. It's another one of those things - Shivering Isles isn't done yet, PS3 isn't even done yet [in Europe], so Shivering Isles for PS3 needs to have a few things happen first before we can move on that.

Want to shut up now? Its coming to PS3.

PSU: Any online functionality such as downloads?

Hines: Yes. We are looking at offering some of the downloadable content we've already released and making that available for PlayStation 3. The issue is, you really need to get the game to a point where it's essentially complete, before you can effectively test the new stuff, because if you run into problems, you're not sure if it occurred because of the downloadable content or the [unfinished] main game. We've just started working on that [downloadable content] and can hopefully soon decide what downloadable content we can make available and when.

Oblivion is last gen and a half graphics wise. it was a launch game.. next gen graphics started with Gears of War (on consoles).. Oblivion is a great game though. nothing wrong with it.

WTH? those shots look fine. stop nit-picking, Lemmings. After last year's 360 offerings, you should be the last one's to talk about jaggies and lack-luster visuals. One game does not cover over a year full of subpar graphics.

There are two interviews that they said it is more in Son'y hands if there will be a PS3 version or not, so nothing is certain, if Sony keep the bad online structure that makes them not support it now soon, then they will simply not go back in a year and make SI for PS3, they will abandon it

LOL it's an INTERVIEW. (it's somewhere in video format too) with bethesta. I'm not a cow btw, i own a 360 but not a ps3 (yet), and i dare you to find a thread where i'm bashing the 360 in any form. I just find so idiotic some of the stuff posted here that i cannot stay quiet.

awesome comeback, and so true. Has Phil and Ken managed to make sony fans think their eyes are lying to them? That mountain pic has without doubt the WORST jaggies of ANY next gen game, period. If you do not know what jaggies actually are, allow me to explain. (please turn off the sony marketing filter now...) Jaggies are caused when steps appear in lines close to vertical or horizontal. Anti aliasing places neutral squares into the gaps to smooth over these steps. The text you are reading right now has anti aliasing so it appears smooth. Chck out text on a commodore 64 to see it turned off, and also that second ps3 oblivion pic.
