New report surfaces that updated 720 specs blow away ps4 and reach pc

How is this a new report? Wtf? Talk about making me interested in what tech is inside the thing, and you just get a rumour article from feb 6...

whatever happened to the crossfire type setup that was rumoured a while ago? could they theoretically slap two of those gpu's together? it will probably go over power requierments but MS might be desperate and that is really all they could do at this point to counter PS4. with 8GB of ram and two 800mhz class gpu with total of 28CU. unfortunately it will also cause RROD part deux.

They are - but 8 GBs of DDR3, which is significantly slower than GDDR5. Not to mention the rumors of the next Xbox's OS taking up 3 GBs, that leaves roughly 5 GBs of DDR3 for games, in contrast with the probably 7 or so GBs of GDDR5 on the PS4. It's a significant difference. 

Wouldn't it be cool if MS finalises the specs to beat the the PS4 specs,and then Sony upgrades the specs AGAIN?:P

DDR3 brah,  also what is MS going to own us with? Another multiplat box? Sony has far more studios needed to differentiate their platform. Sony makes something for everyone. You'd never see anything like Knack on Xbox.

the never ending battle, at that rate we might get a new console in 2015 once they finish outdoing one another. i just realised that the PS4 is going to be rather large it's got 8GB DDR5 and the densest moduels come in 512mb form so 16 of those suckers packed in unless they have access to some new manufacturing process.

That's a rumor. I don't believe the next Xbox's OS is going to take up that much Ram. The OS's in the 360 only took up about 64mb of Ram.

That report says nothing. The next Xbox's GPU might be Dx11 compliant/capable. One thing you can gaurantee though, is that if the Xbox launches after the Ps4, it'll be more powerful... that's just the way things are with tech.

If MS was smart they would use the 8gb of the Fastest DDR 3 plus 2gb of DDR5 dedicated Video Ram.  That would blow away the PS4.
