lol! Well that was very unimpressive; I actually think the E3 debut trailer for Zelda TP many years ago looked way better than that.

[QUOTE="madsnakehhh"][QUOTE="DreamCryotank"]Looks mediocre to be honest. I lost interest in TP though, and Zelda is one of my favorite series ever, Phantom Hourglass being in my top 5 games this gen. I think it's time to bury this franchise. =\DreamCryotank
Phantom Hourglass one of your top 5 games this gen and the franchise needs to be buried? mmkay...
After watching that, yes. Seriously, my face was :| all the way through. That was freaking lame. The problem is that Nintendo doens't do anything new to the franchise. They just add new enemies and new coat of paint. They need to do something with it. Zelda has the potential to be "epic" as in LOTR epic for example. Make it look more realistic and let us actually explore Hyrule and the world around Zelda with incredible visuals (not cel shaded). Nintendo is still keeping the kiddy image on Zelda. That's why it won't ever be taken serious until it gets some dramatic changes.

Good trailer. I wish Nintendo can change Zelda a bit. Make it darker with better graphics and huge exploration. I can only dream.

Demon's Souls/Dark Souls has got your back ;)
Oh I know. :)
But I would also like Zelda to have my back. :(
they will probably make a trailer like that at E3. The reaction to that video was insane though, I think they need to do something special this time to get a reaction like that.lol! By who? You? All this crying over a trailer, my goodness. TP had epic ones, and that game is hated like it's Extreme Paintbrawl.

actually most zelda fans liked twilight princess a lot. I thought it was awesome and one of the best games games i've played this gen.
people who complain would have complained if they changed the formula and complain that it's not, nintendo just can't win.

There won't be a reaction like that for Skyward Sword, but it doesn't really need one. Twilight Princess was first unveiled with a non-toon shaded, adult Link. SS has already been shown, and to some peoples' displeasure, looks boring / not interesting :(.

I loved it too, though I'd call it a last gen game since I have it for the GCN. I'm just saying a trailer no way indicates how the game will actually turn out, nor does it guarantee the level of enjoyment the player will feel. If anything, all this crying is proving that Zelda is taken very seriously as a franchise. One little thing people don't like, and "BOOM!" It's the end of the world, Zelda should be burried, blah, blah...

The artstyle has never been used before in a zelda game, it's a mix of twilight and wind waker with it's own charm, how can they be disappointed how it looks? if they did another adult link haters would of said "no change since twilight princess" or "wii can't do realistic graphics should have gone cell shaded."I loved it too, though I'd call it a last gen game since I have it for the GCN. I'm loving the art style, the game is looking great as well. People here are being more ignorant than usual though...

Surprisingly the trailer did very little for me. It's been almost a year since we last saw something about it but it feels like what they showed looks pretty much the same as last year's E3. And so far the main attraction of the game (WM+) doesn't seem like it adds that muchto the experience compared to past Zelda games. Even with WM+ added it still looks like the same ol same ol except this time you can swing your sword wherever you want but what's the point if the enemies just react the same as they always do, what's the point of swinging your sword to open a goddamn door(just means it's gonna takea fewsec more to open a door that's all, it doesn't add anything), or to cut a bamboo into multiple pieces that does what exactly, absolutely nothing.
They really haven't shown much situation where the WM+ is actually needed/useful...etc. It also doesn't look like it's gonna be very challening (again).
I'm really not all that excited so far, I really want to be but unfortunately I'm not.
it's mainly the puzzle opportunities that I think the WM+ is gonna be useful for. I saw a brief glimps of that with that cube thing you have to rotate and such. Not to mentionthe enemies guarding in different positions.Surprisingly the trailer did very little for me. The series that produced what is widely regarded as the greatest game ever made won't be taken seriously until it' not "kiddy" anymore. :lol:Meh worthy... I think their kinda losing focus in what Zelda is all about and failing to evolve the franchise at the same time. The whole swinging Links sword with complex movement got old a year back.

Ok to be fair I love Toy Story. :)I just never changed my profile pic and sig ever since Toy Story 3 came out, one of my favorite movies ever. BUT as far as being kiddy, I didn't say I'm not playing it because it's kiddy. I wish Nintendo would go the Twilight Princess style and darker like Majora's Mask.
I love how when it comes to Nintendo franchise like Mario and Zelda the haters bash it for being "the same old thing" yet buy sequel after sequel and act like Nintendo is the only company that does this. :roll:Sp4rtan_3

It looks pretty cool.I'm excited for it!
I have to admit it though, I'm not a fan of the Wii-remote and nunchuk images stuck prominently on the screen there. They looked very distracting and I hope there will bea way to remove those from the game screen. Other than that, it looks like fun!
Looks ok, I guess... nothing to get excited about TBH. Seems the main focus of the gameplay is the whole horizontal/vertical slash thing which is NOT good IMO.
Just hoping the story delivers.
And no Tingle.
Ok trailer but I didn't expect a trailer today so I'm happy I got to see something.:P I'm sure we'll get some polished exploration gameplay and everything at E3.:)
