[QUOTE="I_can_haz"]He's lying. I've had 4 PS3s since the PS3 launched and I've never had to wait for movies to load or buffer. In fact, the PS3 plays movies better than standalone bluray players that I own.

I was thinking surely I have heard about this before now. There's no way people would put up for with buffering for a even a short amount of time. Thanks for clearing that up. :)

Blu-ray load time represents the average time the model took to load our test Blu-ray discs, measured from the time of pressing the 'load' button to the time the first video information is displayed onscreen. Depending on disc, load time may vary from our result.

whaa! gawd riverwolf! you're a big liar whaaa!
****ing fanboys i swear to god...
I hate that load time crap. I put in Battlefield the other day on my brand-fricken-new Blu-Ray player, and I had to wait like 3 minutes before I even got to the title screen. 3 minutes may not seem like much; but when DVDs and On-Demand movies start in a few seconds, 3 minutes is a long time.
