I hate the Xbox 360, but even I have to argue against this point. People will still be playing generic shooters with good graphics well into next gen. :P

i would look at MGS4 ,LBP, KZ2, and upcoming games like Uncharted 2 and then compared them to previous generation, its a huge leap of improvememt but i dont see that at all from multiplat games

and what killzone 2 is awesome? a black and white, linear space nazi shooter with bad controls and an unbalanced class system? crap, unpopular wannabe PC games on a flop console that no-one plays. Crysis wasn't perfect but it was a great openworld FPS that offered a great degree of flexiblity

the only thing that pc offers is higher res, that's it. there is nothing on pc that shows talent, just cuz devs have $500 dollar gpu's and use all that for resolution dont mean a thing.
People like you give cows a bad name. The current gen (what you seem to be referring to as next gen) started with 360. If you said PS3 and 360 are the only current gen platforms, I'd agree. I don't see how PCs have gens.

oh yes because uncharted and killzine are clearly in a completly different league to halo and gears. [/sarcasam] killzone2 is basically halo 3 (which in turn is basically halo1) and uncharted is gears mixed with POP. not exactly gob smacking really now is it? both platforms suffer from the same problem.....there both prettier versions of last gen games. theres nothing more or less next gen about the exclusives on either the PS3 or 360.

the rest is just old hat. they just pumped up graphics, that's all. That's why the next gen consoles will follow Nintendo's path, that is interaction with videogames.

Yeah, the AAA and AA list of PC doesn't mean anything at all... it just means they have higher resolution and $500 GPU...
I dont agree. Only PS3 fanboys would think that. And PS3 is no longer next-gen, it's been current gen for a while. Both the 360 and PS3 offer a gaming experience that was impossible in the previous generation.

i would say the way they look and play in motion, i guess its the animation, physics, or whatever it is. you just dont see that from multiplat games on 360/ps3, i only see same quality from previous gen but with higher res.

I also dislike all those bad games they've been realising on the Wii, but their strategy has proven them right. They revolutionized the Game Industry and that's a fact.
