Root kit has nothing to do with sony computer entertainment it was sony music who did that a totally different branch of sony,and in fact the PS2 and PS1 used CD's and no game had any root kits,despite piracy on both platforms.

And that is from his generation,last gen it was even worse,cross play is a last effort of MS to make a splash about the xbox,they never cared for it and refuse to allow PS3 games to be cross play with xbox 360 ones,and this gen even with PC games at the start of the generation.

The only reason why MS is allowing cross play is because they are behind,and they know the lock in effect,because the xbox 360 was partially successful because of it,if your platform has more gamers then there is a change friends of the gamers you already have will get your platform as well.

In this case the xbox one is not even close to how the PS3 was to the 360 is lagging badly,MS doesn't care about consumers it cares about money all 180 done this gen is part of an effort to save the brand,even exclusives on PC is part of that 180.

Why is it so important to you to shoot players on a PS console anyway and how does it make you a "better" gamer?

PS4 already offers crossplay with mobile and PC. Why does it matter if it offers it with Xbox and Switch? The majority of Fortnite players are on PC, mobile and PS4. We've been playing COD, BF, Overwatch, etc. all these years without crossplay and now people are acting like crossplay is the defining feature of our age because Phil Spencer told them so. Bunch of bullshit from entitled crybabies.

I can understand people crying that their Fortnite accounts are locked because they linked it to PS4 but the people whining about crossplay need to STFU and suck it. MS is not trying to be "pro-cosumer", they are only advocating for this because they are very behind in sales and need every advantage they can get. When the tables were turned last gen and they were very much ahead they would not yield to crossplay either. There is no difference between shooting an Xbox Fortnite player in the face or a PS4 player. If playing with people on PS4 is that important to you then sell your Xbox and buy a PS4 or vise versa.

Sony has offered crossplay with PC and other non-competing platforms since the start of the gen and neither MS nor lems ever cared for it. Now all of a sudden MS realizes that they are far behind in user base compared to the PS4, and they want Sony to open up their network and relinquish one of their major advantages over the Xbox lol. No right thinking company in Sony's position would ever do something so foolish. One of the number one rules of business is you never give up an advantage to your competition. Nintendo is only working with MS because they have no choice, their online is shit and their install base is still very low, they have everything to gain from a partnership with MS.
