According the to leaks the about the new Nintendo Direct happening later today we should get news on the following titles

• Fire Emblem Fates

• Lost Reavers (Project Treasure)

• Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games - Rio 2016

• Metroid Prime: Federation Force

• Monster Hunter Generations

• Star Fox Zero

• YO-KAI WATCH

This leak has been made more credible by a patent being filed for Monster Hunter Generations yesterday.

At this point though all this is still alleged so tune in to the Direct later on for confirmation, but what do you guys think? Real or Fake and how excited would you be?

They need to reveal the NX already.

They stated this numerous time no. Nintendo will talking about it at E3, June 2016.

All they have for WiiU this year is a shitty looking Star Fox game.

They are waiting for E3, dont expect it in any directs

Only Monster Hunter Generations interest me for now, but the rest, Meh.

Im interested in Star Fox Zero and Federation Force. All these seem very realistic on what Nintendo would discuss. Will also be cool to hear about Lost Reavers and how Bandi are doing. I like the lineup, it covers Nintendo fan base well. Will be good to hear about Yokai also, ive been seeing some kids like it and buy them crazy looking watch things.

Know a certain few will get irked with this, I'd sooner take that than Fire Emblem Fates.

That depends on you of course. Monster Hunter Generations is basically the spotlight though.

Besides the DLC, I don't see what more they can talk about for Fire Emblem Fates.

@Sweetbackhair: Money is on talking about how well it sold and then a small amount of dlc coming up

Metroid and Star Fox

Platinum games took the helm on Star Fox Zero. Since then it's looked considerably better than when they first debuted footage. It's early in the year and Nintendo doesn't announce games months and months in advance. Patience is a virtue.

Europe is still waiting for a release date. So i think might be a good time to announce one.

Not a lot that interests me there. Still interested to see how well Star Fox Zero does, and I'm curious about Metroid Prime Federation Force. No idea what Lost Reavers is.

I still take these leaks with a heaping of salt. We'll see come this afternoon.

If nothing else, I can't see them ignoring Twilight Princess HD, Pokken Tournament and Hyrule Warriors Legends, with their releases so close.

Apparently its project treasure's new name which was announced a while ago as a f2p for wii u

Can't believe people diss the wiiu now that the ps4 and x1 have revealed the type of consoles they are. Two years in on these two and nothing which screams an upgrade from the ps3/360.

Wiiu has a small library, but it is so good that anybody which played games during the 16bit era should own one. Tropical Freeze is GREAT. NSMB is GREAT. Mario Kart, 3D World, SUPER MARIO MAKER!!! Some of these are treasures. How does one enjoy Mario and not own Mario Maker?!

@aigis: Huh, first time seeing that. I dig it. Could be fun for a romp with a good group of friends. If the online is good, maybe a SW group could be organized, run through it, and then bash the game after realizing how garbage it is. >_<

I like mario maker and what Nintendo did is fairly solid, my only disappointing aspect with it is some of the user generated content really sucked, especially on the 100 mario challenges

The bigger problem for me is the inability to search for good levels in the game itself- having to use the website is fine, but why can I not do it in the game itself?

Oh of course. Nothing can stop that. That part of the community will not be a dedicated one, though. I just don't understand. There are actually phenomenal games one wiiu. I don't care how many. I know the number is low by comparison, but most consoles libraries doesn't consist of so many exceptional titles, good but not exceptional.

There were bundles over time which, for $299, gave the system and two games. MK8 and 3D World, for example. For real, people don't think that's worth it?

Ya that is the bigger problem. I dont blame Nintendo at all for people being bad at level design, but they should have some sort of filter system for the 100 challenge or the ability to search for a certain level that you see on youtube or something...

Yeah, the tagging ability would be fine, honestly.

They do have level codes, but eh...

@Heirren: ya wii u's marketing was pretty odd though and many people were confused about it. The lack of third party is was really did it. Its hard to justify a purchase when for a console with only first party, even if its really good, Nintendo can only pump out so many games at a time

Ya, but sometimes they would only give out the name of the level... I wish they had a favorite system too so I could save the better ones to get other people to go through it. Tag system would be ideal though

My hope is we get to see 5 seconds of it. Because that is the most I can hope for.

Don't get me wrong, the Starfox game being worked on by Platinum is probably going to be a great game despite the low expectations for it. A new Monster Hunter is always welcome. It's not that I'm going to chuck my WiiU through a window, but this is looking less and less like the year we get Zelda the more they go radio silent about it. I'd expect this kind of thing from Sony, but not Nintendo.

..damnit, I just need this Zelda game already!

@aigis: I'm just sadden that Nintendo doesn't want to talk about any Pokemon related news despite we already had Pokemon direct last week. [I was hoping at least for Z]
