Knew it was too stupid to be true.
It's a little ironic that Sony and Microsoft fanboys call Nintendo fanboys sheep. Being a gamer and preferring a system over another will make you sheep to the other so, technically we're all sheeps. Baa away and run with your herd little ones.
Btw, I like my Wii U more than my ps4. Sue me.
@no-scope-AK47: Those have all been talked about before extensively, and it's been generally agreed that the NX is doing well on those fronts based on rumors. But we can't actually make any judgements on any of that, because unless we have the actual announcement. A controller leak, on the other hand, we can discuss and speculate on.
@Sushiglutton: He did a good job in making it. Its pretty cool the length and time put into these things. His video is awesome too.
@Basinboy: @emgesp: @KHAndAnime:
Turns out the second leak was fake, too.
Sorry to disappoint you all lol

Yeah this is the quality of trolling you can't do anything but admire :)!
Another thread to be excited about whatever some douchebag did with photoshop because there is nothing to be excited .. and anyway, when you hype some shit, it never has amazing as the hype.
You'll have something to be excited once the product is shown at whatever point this year, or the next. Even then, it may not be as amazing as people want it to be or speculate it would could do. Wait until you have the product in your hands with a game before you wet your pant like a 13y old girl at a Jonas Brothers concert.
What I find funny is the actual things that matter
1. 3rd party support
2. Hardware power
3. Online gaming
4. Multimedia support blu-ray player/dd/dts/dnla/ac wifi ect
5. longevity of the platform
Nobody is talking about. I could give two shits about a controller.
Okay, the rest I understand, but why the HELL should it be a requirement to have to watch physical movies on a GAME console? It was a gimmick in the PlayStation 2 era, it's a gimmick now.

1 less device needed in your entertainment center? I cant remember the last time I had DVD/BR drive.
@Heil68: Okay, but you're gonna have a PS4 in your center, right? Don't see why the NX not having physical movie capability matter as much then.
Wow, I was really fooled! He is very talented though, and I learned a lot watching that video of the 3d printing process. I have to say it was cool seeing what the rough Nintendo sketches of the patent brought into a physical form really looked like.

Well maybe not everyone has a PS4/X1 or whatever. Can you assume that the end user wouldn't find that handy? I know the Wii not playing DVD's because they didn't want to pay licensing fees made the console less appealing to me.
Nintendo doesn't get a pass for not having this function in today's console market, at least to me they dont.
@Heil68: I dont even have DvDs no more. I also no longer buy them. I hope they dont waste money on such dated tech. We live in the digital age now. Lets lower our carbon footprint more.
@Heil68: True enough. But if we're talking about the average user's media consumption, then that happens through streaming services like Netflix, and Nintrbdo systems have that part covered.
Now, would it be nice if the NX could play disc movies? Sure, it'd be awesome, more features are always better. But not having disc movie playback isn't exactly a big deal, in my opinion.

ummm, DVDs and BR's arent going anyways an time soon. I dont watch a lot of them,, but sometimes we go to RedBox.
@Heil68: Yeah, sometimes i rent online, but i dont rent physical stuff or buy physical movies no more. I have Amazon Prime, Netflix, Apple and HBO. I went digital with movies, tv shows, music and PC awhile ago, now im starting to do the same with Nintendo.
I understand a few still use them though, i just feel the tech is so dated that its not worth it.

I dont buy DD games unless they are at least 1/2 price of physical copy.
@indzman: They've made it pretty clear it's a complete departure from Wii and Wii U, so I highly doubt it, honestly.
I find it funny how the thread showing the leaks hit 5 pages so fast, and was full of people laughing and saying Nintendo had completely lost it, and they where doomed. Yet here where it's confirmed fake they have nothing to say.
Are the System Warriors really this scared that Nintendo might once again make a hardcore focused gaming console without a gimmick, that they can't even admit they jumped the gun?
@charizard1605: unless it is a clear statement with the actual product and says this is what we will sell. I don't trust anything
whew.
i was pretty sure it was fake but, with nintendo, there is always that doubt since the company is certifiable (and long may be they continue to be so).
but you couldnt play games on that...clearly. i mean im pretty open minded on controllers (the wiimote and nunchuck were great. the gamepad could be useful with the right games and the steam controller is an underrated revolution....in my book). but that just wouldnt be useful.
there are some elements of it that could be interesting in a handheld (assuming they could get the screen to work as per the fake). but not suitable for the job on its own.

The Internet and negativity are too in links with one another. Deserved or not.
I don't get the hate for the pad. Personally I like it, being able to do off screen play and what not. Battery life didn't really bother me and lasted long enough to get a few hours in. I don't play more than four hours at a time anyway. It wasn't utilized as well as it could have been but I really like it.
@cheesie253: Yeah, im a big fan of the pad also and the many different ways games use it. I think might be good for Nintendo to try and make more optional controls. I dont know. Some are turned off by the Gamepad, some like motion controls, some like traditional, some like touch controls. The gaming community is growing so big and different.
@iandizion713:
Very true. I'd of course prefer a standard controller for every game, mainstream anyway. Wouldn't mind if other controllers were supported but not required unless the game was specifically made for say motion controls. Like Zelda I want a standard controller but something like a Mario Party or party/sport game would be fun with motion controls.
I think the issue with that would be where do you draw the line and when it's drawn, let's say the new Zelda can use standard or motion controls, does one affect the quality of the other.
forgetting about the specs..is there any specs of the machine?
This machine is unannounced yet. There is no official information on it at all.
Wow... So Nintendo hasn't lost their minds officially! Yet...
Let's see what they have planned for us now. Hopefully this has taught us all a valuable lesson about jumping the gun...

I remember when people jumped the gun with the Nintendo On fake trailer before the Wii was finally revealed in 2005. Someone here in GS believed that the On was real despite the trailer being a complete hoax and he kept on believing it until after the Wii came out.
