Nintendo Wii *Games to look forward* [56K Warning]

The game can look awesome, but it definitely doesn't look good graphically. He said it looks like a souped up Gamecube game, but it's more like a souped up N64 game.

That's because there is a lot more going on besides just graphics. For example, the AI is said to be incredibly advanced for the towns people, who remember deaths, their jobs, familiar routes to places, and events that happened (IE a fish being caught).

I'm not trying to bash the game. I'm just saying the graphics are less then stellar.

I have a Wii and love it, but honestly, none of those games that you posted interest me, none.

But I seriously cant wait for Nintendos E3, im sure they will announce the next Zelda, can't wait for that.

I have a ps3 and i noe the games coming out for 360. And i have a wii and i don even bother to check games out for it. I thought it was gonna be a good system but it turned out to be a fad. Those games are listed look like garbage, well at least half of them. $50 for that???!!. I'd rather pay $10 more for resistance 2, killzone 2, gears 2, farcry 2, Resident evil 5, cod5.....and more. Those games look pathetic next to these. I'd rather play those arcade games at places with arcade machines than these worthlesses.

Ok how about you guys play your games on the wii and we play ours but stop saying they are excellent, or better than ps3/360 games coming out. Then we see who is having more fun. soon you'll want to join us.

No one is bashing Wii's "sales." Michael Jordan wasn't the best because simply because he got paid the most. The Wii absolutely dominates in that department. It's the lineup, that's all - the points that the Wii puts up if you will. You see, when a console sells like the Wii is selling usually it's expected that its library will blow away the competition's, just as it went with the PS2 (and the Wii is selling FASTER than the PS2.) Right now not only is the Wii clearly not leading in the library department lists like this don't help. The Wii, despite selling so, so much more than the competition is last in AAA's and AA's. It's just confusing, that's all. Such a thing has never happened before.

Hopefully Nintendo will make some annoucements during E3, though.

Everytime I try to "join" another faction, I get shot down by the smallest thing. I tried getting an XBox 360, but going into more research into the system, I found out about the absurd hardware problems the system has and the lack of variety in games, and to make it worse, most of the good games for it are M-rated. How am I supposed to play these games with friends? I like to play alone, but playign with others is better. In fact, the only must have for the XBox 360 is the next Banjo game, and one game is not enough to drop upwards of $300 and a $60 game.

I also tried getting into PS3, but at first I couldn't afford it, and then when I could, there weren't any must have games that appealed to me, the only ones I see that appeal to me are Warhawk, Ratchet and Clank, Motorstorm, and LBP. But none of them are AAA must have games. I feel closer to getting a PS3 than a 360, but I doubt it will happen.

Besides, I have missed enough good games on the Wii and DS already that I never bought that I could afford. The games for the Wii are not your type, but you are bashing them. Most games out for the other systems are not my type, but I don't bash them. I support most of them for being good quality games for their market. So don't be such a fanboy.

The Wii is dead last in overall number of AAA's and AA's.

Even ignoring GS (where the Wii is last in AA and AAA titles, and the figures for those numbers are in the sticky at the top of this forum's page) the Wii has 5 AAA's on GR (and 3 of the 5, TP, RE4, and Okami, are straight GC/PS2 ports) and 13 AA. The PS3 has 5 AAA on GR as well, but it has something like 39 AA.

As I said, last in AAA's and AA's despite selling over twice as much.

How does an adult male (or female) become offended while playing these games? Do they also completely avoid R rated movies and "explicit" music? Are they super religious or something (not trying to offend by asking the question or anything, just honestly wondering how a 40 year old could be so offended by a video game.)

Seriously, look at all the upcoming games for the 360 and PS3, LBP is about the only original game for PS3 and Banjo is the only non recent sequel for the 360, and all the Lemmings and Cows get excited for them. Yet when Wii has an original and unique IP it's instantly dismissed as crap because it either, isn't a sequel therefore can never in a million years get a good score because that's impossible, or or doesn't follow some dull formula. Look at the new IP's for 360 and PS3 this gen. It looks like a good year for the Wii. No huge games like 07's SMG and MP3 but 3rd parties are stepping up alot. I wouldn't say its better than the 360's and PS3's lineups.meetroid8

We should know about Disaster: Day of Crisis and Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse release dates this E3. Plus there is une BIG secret game that Nintendo will announce too (Star Fox? Kid Icarus? Pikmin 3? F-Zero?).
