ill take a sim racer which takes skills to play like GT5, over a "lets put pictures on mah car!1!11" arcade game like forza2
It is apparent you have never played Forza. There is no way that Forza is "arcadey" when compared to GT.
i went to my friends to played forza2 and and beat every match i played..its too easy... GT actually takes skill.. go play GT:HD.. see how well you drift..lol
Shut the assists off and play it on hard. Don't come in here acting like an expert on a game that you played at a friends house for thirty minutes.
If you turn all assets off race in manual and turn the difficulty up to high and have damage on sim and fuel and wear on i bet you could never win a race.
lol fanboys blow in general but come on microsoft fanboys, ur a fool if u say GT5 isn't the best looking sim out there. and for u sony fanboys, we don't know if it will play out superb although I hope it does. but quit throwing PG4 in the mix, GT5 owns it on so many levels. GT5 vs Forza is a reasonable argument since the games are similar. so yea so far GT5 owns in the graphics department but gameplay may still be up in the air. but I predict Gran turismo to be a better game in every aspect but that's just my personal opinionunknowndrk
GT5 doesn't own pgr4 in so Meany levels, pgr4 has far more detailed environments and the car models are very close to GT5 maybe even better plus the weather effects, and pgr4 will most likely be more realistic which i find funny...(playing bumper cars in pgr doesnt work)

[QUOTE="michael098"]Honestly, i don't know why console fanboys care so much about graphics, cows are bragging about GT5 looking like real life and all this other BS but all i can say is calm the **** down!! Not only is GT5 far from the most technically demanding game on a console it also cant be compared to pc games for the last few years and definitely not Crysis. And TC, Forza 2 owns GT5 when it comes to car realisim...xtreme822
rofl how can u say that wen gt5 is couple years from release? all uve seen was the gt 5 prolouge which is a gt5 hardly finished, i just cant believe u just said that forza 2 owns gt5 in realism this early LOLLLLL
......you just proved my point even further, will GT5 even look impressive for a console game when its released?

it may look better, they may improve details of the environment and such, but i was pointing out the part where you said forza 2 owns gt5 when it comes to realisim

and how can u compare gt 5 to crysis WTF
Are you serious? it is very easy to compare GT5s graphics to crysis, just because they are different games doesn't mean you cant compare, if what you said was true then how could sites like GS rate graphics? Ill tell you how to compare them, Crysis has higher poly models, more detailed textures, better physics, more effects only possible with DX10 like lighting and so on. GT5 looks more realistic because its a bunch of cars on a road, not exactly hard compared to forest. And if you havent got it already i was comparing GT5s GRAPHICS to crysis GRAPHICS.

I dont get it, have you not seen PGR 4, it looks very good and is easly comparable GT5.

gt5 is much better than pgr4 graphically by a long shot, and don't try to dust off the fact you claim pgr4 may be more realistic than gt5
but its just liek comparing apples to oranges because you are comparing a console game to a pc game, how hard is that to understand? honestly, pc hardware is wayyyyyy ahead of ps3 hardware at the moment, so it is much easier to develop much better looking games. if you want to be fair, compare 2 console games LIKE forza 2 and gt5, just because gt5 pwns forza 2 in the graphics department, doesnt mean you change the view from a 360 game to a much advanced platform (pc).xtreme822
glade to see some cows don't think GT5 is graphically better than crysis, believe it or not cows have said that so i thought it would be ok to post a comparison, other than that your right and its not right to compare pc games to consoles games because no matter what pcs are always going to have the best looking games, and about the pgr 4 vs GT5, im not saying it overall looks better because GT5 is easily the most realistic looking racing game out of both 360 and ps3, what i meant was PGR4 has more detailed environments which im sure everyone can agree on but that doesn't mean it looks more detailed, i mean GT5 has 2D tree models and pre-rendered static images in the background, which would make fewer polys on screen but still manages to look good and realistic, just like GT:HD.

yes and how many cars do you race against in GT:HD?

I bet pgr 4 would have downgraded environments so the game can run good if there were 16 car models as detailed as the ones in GT5.
[QUOTE="Nokia_N95"]What about the tracks, the surrounding's?so it turns from a graphic post to a "bu bu bu bu forza gots teh damage!!111"
as usual when lemmings are losing they change the subject. go back to your arcade racer

the track selection in GT4 is far seperior to forza 2. La Sarth, Citta d'aria, Fuji, El Capitan alone blow away ny of the boring tracks in forza. Not to mention that Nurbergring is done far better in GT4 than Forza 2.

Looking at the GT5 pics, I personally own Forza 2 andis not a huge diffrence, So Obviously its doesnt pawn anything, its just slightly better since its a game that is still in development, they take longer to take it out, maybe Forza 3 will come out around the same date GT5 comes out. Pawning is Forza 1Vs GT5, huge diffrence, you need to do your eyes a huge favor, go get some glasses.

You can stop pretending you played Forza 2. It's ok.
PS: If you're going to say you own it, then prove it.

i actually prefer the nurburgring on forza - it's really smooth and flowing (which isn't actually realistic atall as the real nurburgring is bumpy and demanding). if you strip racing games down to their bare bones the 2 main ingredients for me would be cars and tracks, which gran turismo has more and does better then forza

Thats one of the most ignorant comments i've ever seen. Although there is arcade mode in Forza 2, the bulk of the gameplay is in a Simulation style, which is as real as ive ever played. Now im not denying that GT5 looks better than Forza 2, but that is just straight up ignorance calling Forza 2 an Arcade Racer. Now i like my Xbox 360 and everything but i am more than fair in giving the PS3 credit, which it does graphically for GT5, but your post is pure fanboyism and is completely untrue.
