Unless they completely rehauled the graphics, like i mean, totally went back to the drawing board with the engine dont bother bringing that waggle crap over to the ps3 or 360 WE DONT NEED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LordQuorthon

Yeah. They should also change the whole story and make it both epic and normal. Also, while they're at it, they might as well make it a FPS.

If it isn't a military shooter it ain't worth playin'!

I guess those who couldn't play the first one can now, but they miss out on the fun waggle.

Great news for HD console owners but you won't get the fun waggle :P Say what you want about waggle but that was one of the best things about the game. The combat is REALLY simple, you just keep mashing one button but the final waggle hit made it fun and satisfying (unless you play on Hard, then you guard once in a while). Also all those fun little minigames that required waggle won't be as fun. Still, I'm sure it'll still be a great game on the HD consoles but I have a feeling it may be a little bit too simple with the buttons.

If true, this would be quite a slap in the face to the Wii... one of its few games recognized as "core" by something other than than Nintendo supporters, and it's jumping ship.

I'm not sure how they'd do NMH on other consoles given it had quite a bit of "waggle play". In any case - interesting.

yeah, isn't this the Wii's only third party AAAE? also, it's definitely true, it's been posted on neogaf in the famitsu thread, by credible users.

I could care less on what Gamespot thinks, but from here, there is The Beatles: Rock Band, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010, Resident Evil 4, World of Goo and Okami

We all know only exclusives count. Which means regardless of what No more heroes HD gets, it won't count since it isn't exclusive.

I don't see the point of this. It won't work as well as it did Wii and the PS3/360 both have better games in that genre anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love NMH - but this to me doesn't make much sense.

read my post, the one you quoted, I asked if it had any other third party AAAE's, E for exclusive. You even replied and said that it has other third party AAAE's. I only asked because I wasn't sure.

Oh, never knew that the E was used as "Exclusive". Well, none of them are. But RE4, Okami and World of Goo are not available on the ps3 and 360 :D, but still though

The whole exclusive thing is dumb to me. A good game is a good game - regardless of which platforms it's on lol.

It was a pretty bad game to be honest, fighting was kind of fun, if a little simplistic, but the driving was completely broken and the minigames were dreadful. It was reviewed extremely generously due to its unique presentation and originality but the game itself was mediocre at best. Put it this way, if the game was set in feudal Japan and had the standard hack and slasher story it would have been lucky to score in the 5/10 range. A victory for style over substance. If it is a new game and they have drastically improved on the original it might be ok, but I can't see it competing with Ninja Gaiden, GOW3, Bayonetta etc.

A $20-30 XBLA/PSN release probably allow Muramasa to fair better if ported.

[QUOTE="rhaigun"]Which isn't saying much for Suda.foxhound_fox

It's too bad sales have nothing to do with quality.

anti-Wii fanboyism with more bravado, only to lessen your credibility even further.....oh wait.DRAGONPIECEZ

Ahh... I love it. Why should I care if I lost "credibility" with you? And how exactly am I an anti-Wii fanboy? I loved Twilight Princess, Excite Truck, Corruption (not as much as Echoes or Prime) and Red Steel. I'm looking forward to Red Steel 2, Metroid: Other M (despite remaining sceptical) and the next Zelda. I'd also like to mention I have an interest in trying NSMBWii (but don't want to pay for the privilege, so I'll probably just borrow it from a friend), Endless Ocean and Muramasa (unfortunately, I hear the story is nothing like that in Odin Sphere).

It just goes to show you, its not good to make sweeping assumptions about people.

I know you're not a fanboy of any faction. However, I suggest you play Muramasa before deeming the story bad compared to Odin Sphere. Playing the game makes your statement more legit. Otherwise it appears bias towards Wii games.

It looks almost identical. Am I the only one who is not impressed?

ActicEdge

No I'm not impressed either with the graphics. If it is released in NA, I'd be really surprised if not only it gets higher ratings but if it sold a lot more. I doubt it though.

Considering how basic a port this is I doubt it will outsell the Wii version. Ya never know though.

Yeah but if I was a 360/PS3 owner without a Wii, I would rather get Devil May Cry 4, Ninja Gaiden II/Sigma and God of War III then a port of the first NMH. The motion controls is what made the game and if you prefer dual analog, than I suggest you play another action game.

At least Wii owners get to play NMH 2 before NMH is released in NA. That is if it is released outside of Japan.

Playing NMH right now and it is awesome.

This port is Marvelous tryin to be greedy, if they want to be successful on HD consoles they need to put high budget games, make them FPS and not release a bunch of Wii port at full price.

You must not know of my distaste for traditional 3D platformers.

Seabas989

People I know well, who have played both games, have told me the story in Muramasa isn't nearly as good as Odin Sphere. I'd trust their opinion over almost anyone else, internet or otherwise.

Also, I didn't say "bad." I highly dislike when my words are twisted into meaning something they don't.

On topic, even though I haven't played it. I really don't care that NMH is going to PS360, if it's Suda 51 or Marvelous's choice. Even if we don't agree, what're we going to do?

I mean c'mon, Capcom and Activision did this to their games, we may have not agreed to them, but what could we have done?

I have yet to play the game either. However, I'd rather play the game firstsince it is a developer that made a great game. I did like Odin Sphere a lot. I'm justsaying that wheneverI come to this board, I here people criticize a game without playing it first. That is like saying I heard people say MGS4 story wise is not as good as MGS story and yet I haven't played it.

No offense but I highly dislike itwhen people assume a game is this and that without playing it.

I did say "bad" so I apologize for twisting your words.

I'm not trying to discredit you're friends but even I disagree with them when it comes to games.

While I agree the game did have issues and I do agree that the motion controls were not perfect it did make the game more enjoyable from the mini games, to the special attacks, to the controller being used as a phone. These thingsand the story/charactersare what make the game instead of the bad graphics.

Then again they could use that wand for the PS3 but I doubt it would be ready before the game is released.

Skeptical.

Since it was a Wii game with fun controls, it was a blast but on an HD console with controlers..? I don't know but if it "obviously" turns out to be a button masher, I'm sticking to God of War.

the game is only 20 bucks on wii now go pick it up, i prefer buying no more heroes cheap then rebuying a game at full price again, i doubt they will change much in the game only upgraded graphics and the very sweet mode, i really doubt they will change the AI and outside world

I thought only multiplats matter? That's the case when the Wii gets pit against the PS3.
