No PC exclusive is on the level of Uncharted 4 or Bloodborne this gen.

true, no PC exclusive has EVER garnered the perfect 10/10 score as given by GS.

Of course, only generic shooters and hack&slash games are considered "real" exclusive games by console plebs like op, why am I not surprised.

People are forgetting as well it not just exclusives any more for PC as they bring out games for Xbox One too with quite a couple this year. So there exclusive to Microsoft not just one system.

What you say PC this tgen? There is no such thing next gen or this gen for PC. PC has 6 million games, PS4 has only 300 games where only 30% games are exclusive.

In the early 2000's it would be the PC with visual blockbusters obliterating consoles.

Now PC is primarily early access low budget survival games and number crunching Paradox titles while PlayStation has 10/10 graphical killing Hollywood epics that are directly comparable to Jesus (GameSpot review confirms this).

PC has exclusives? I thought it just had overrated ports of third party games.

Exclusives matter now more than ever and will be future proof if you're a service company. In this day an age you want to have that exclusive IP so you can keep it on your service and off other peoples.

PC sharing all its games is going to make it less relevant as we move forward into the future. It's time for PC to stop sitting back and to start pumping out AAAA exclusives for PC like sony's uncharted 4 or AAA like Ratchet and Clank. Sony is making the PC platform less relevant day by day. More and more new titles aren't showing up on PC, while I see PC type games like Overwatch distancing itself from PC and going multiplat.

PC is just supporting it with side cash in terms of multiplats and funding indie developers and what not with Steam Greenlight.

Once the devs get successful on PC, they go to consoles next. The main stage.

certainly no exclusive 10/10 or a recent exclusive GOTY as per GS. Those best of the best games are only for consoles.

There's just one problem in this picture, who exactly is going to pay the devs to keep the games exclusive to PC? If there's demand for the game and they can make it run on console hardware it will end up on console, that's just the way it is and it's not going to change in the future.

The ports are definitely overrated, I have a nice gaming rig.

Yeah, the games might be a little sharper but the general texture and looks of the games especially in motion is negligible.

Most of the time it's hermits trying to justify why they spent $1000+ to play games our $299 consoles already play.

You only have to look at the top 20 odd games on Twitch to see how little the XBox/PS are represented in "how big games actually are beyond their launch day"... the only ones on there are 2 medicore shit fests (Devision and Destiny) .. oh wait, devision isn't console only. Star Craft 2 ... even when not living up to its predocessor... will be far more relevant for years.. because it actually has gameplay...

Gonna love how big Uncharted's mp will be... oh wait. I suppose 10 hours of cutscenes on youtube will be enough. Think most don't care, they just play games, exclusives don't exactly matter for most PC gamers, you don't see people going crazy about PC game going to console like you see console players having meltdowns over their games ending up on PC

Exactly. We are all gamers and it is stupid to deny yourself access to games. Those who want the best experience and quality, game on PC. PC gamers also own consoles for exclusives. It is always the console fanboys that end up looking dumb because they don't have access to all the games. They also limit themselves to inferior versions of games with scaled back graphics, lowered resolutions, and worst of all... a shit 30fps.

On other websites? Yes. Not on Gamespot though. The site is mostly Console focused. But the good thing is higher score doesn't make a game better than the others. If overall reception of the game is good then it's a good game, after that it just becomes dick measuring contest.

So two worthy exclusives in three years. Let me go back to Starcraft Legacy of the Void. Let me also go back to the proper version of TW3 that isn't a stuttering mess and is locked at 60fps at 1440p and Ultra graphics. Oh and Let's not forget about the awesomeness that is KI that is not available on PS4. Did Elite Dangerous come out for PS4 yet? Probably not, hopefully it comes out on PS4 before XCOM 2 does.

30 FPS is less of an issue on joysticks as opposed to a kb + m.

You mention scaled backed graphics and lower resolutions and yet when side by side comparisons are done you guys point to the smallest of things to claim superiority.
