Even if we ignore the tens of thousands of PC games, once you finish Uncharted 4 and played a few maps on repeat until the community dies when the next big shooter comes out, what will you do? For a League of Legends player they'll still be playing only now with more gameplay variables and depth as more champs will have been patched in and the meta constantly changed to provide for a consistent challenge.

Naughty Dog will have moved onto another sequel that you'll have spent $60 to play through once, maybe twice until you've gone through the motions again.

None of the games I mentioned were announced for PS4. Even if they do come out, you'll play the downgraded version at 30fps and 900p. I'll gladly play them and be done with them 2 years before you even touch the inferior versions.

3 games? 3 games total for a $400 console? Come on man, you need to step it up.

The PC gets a good game or two on a weekly basis that you can't get on the other platforms. The PS4 gets one of these actual worthwhile exclusives like every what, 6 months if we're being nice? I dug me some Bloodborne, but given the vast majority of quality gaming being multiplats and independent projects, I'm not exactly sweating a console that is mostly a dust collector for me that is just now getting its 2nd, or 3rd actual good game (haven't gotten around to Ratchet).

That said given how good Uncharted 2 (the other 2 Uncharted games blow) and The Last of Us, I'm sure Uncharted 4 is a blast.

You seem to judge a game's quality solely on its production values. You ignore the fact that people play Stardew valley for hundreds of hours and not tire of it because it's a much deeper and more fufilling than an AAA popcorn blockbuster that is worthy of a single playthrough.
