@ProtossRushX: SNES was dope. I always loved plunking that cartridge in and turning it on.
I wonder if we will see "cartridges" making a comeback, i.e. games on USB sticks or some sort of small SSD.
I doubt it. I am not sure they could make small SSDs cheap enough to do that. But, they wouldn't be SSDs, they'd probably be fixed, non rewritable versions of it, basically a modern ROM chip. The storage expansion slot on the back of the new Xbox consoles kind of works like an SSD cartridge already. I think large internal storage is the way consoles will go from now on. And physical media will likely be phased out in its entirety. Consoles from now on will just be scaled down, underclocked PCs in a media center case.
got mine today. i expected it to be huge but abit smaller than i imagine. still part of me wanted the simplicity of my ps4pro. still happy its worth the wait as im having a blast. the free games that i missed on ps4 was icing in the cake.
@Epak_: havent played a ps5 exclusive yet im having a blast with days gone. such a underrated game.
My unit ramps up the fans occasionally for a moment and it still doesn't get as loud as my PRO, most of the time it has this quiet whirring going on. I think it does this with every game.
Kinda funny considering OPs full tower case is literally 8x the volume of a PS5.
Yes, it's a big console but it's still smaller than most Mini-ITX cases; that's not very big for PC gamers.

I've seen a lot of pc cases that are smaller than that PS5 no dude this is not acceptble it looks massive and its weighs a ton. My PC case doesn't.

720p isn't acceptable, nor overpriced hardware. Waiting for the complaint.

PC cases obviously come in all sizes but, the fact is, a Mini-ITX case is still small in the PC gaming world.

My main point is OP has no issue with their own rig even though it's a freaking behemoth compared to the PS5.
Re: weight: An empty mid-tower weighs more than a PS5. Heck, OPs case alone weighs like 2.5x the PS5.
The PS5 weighs is comparable to a basic Dell Inspiron desktop. lmao
