Now that PS3 has failed, what console would you buy?

It still HAS plenty of promising exclusives so losing a few doesnt matter

It's still early in the "New Gen", and already the PS3 is looking to be sinking faster than the Titanic. The PS3 is sitting in last place and isn't making any ground on the Wii or 360, and is in fact losing ground to both consoles. And at $600, the PS3 has crashed landed without even taking off.

For all of you people still sitting on the fence about buying a new console, which one would you prefer? This poll is for people that haven't bought a "Next Gen" machine yet, or for current PS3 owners that will have to purchase a new console.

The Wii, and inexpensive console with the unique fun controller, Mario and Zelda galore, limited multimedia features, limited online that is free, geared much more to the casual gamers.

Or the 360, a more expensive console with superior hardware and a great online but have to pay a fee each year, Halo and GTA galore, great multimedia functions, geared more to the hardcore gamers.

How old are you? If your 18 and up , then your a very sad , lonely , bored individual. If your 14 , 15 , anywhere around that range , then you have a lot of maturing to do and chances are when you do read the age of 18 you will end up being again , a sad , lonely , bored individual.

All this "Breaking Records in Europe" nonsense is just plain, Fanboy Fantasy!!!  The console is hardly moving in Europe.  3 Million consoles in 6 months is just pathetic,  And that is with plenty of PS3 available at stores. 

The consumers have spoken, and the PS3 is an utter failure.

Now back to the original post, for those still sitting on the fence about a "next Gen" system, which would you chose?

I dont mean to make you cry but I already have the Wii , and I also have the 360 , and please dont bang your head against your keyboard but I also have a PS3.

Yeah for a system at its price range and sold over 3 million in 6 months its a failure I guess, lol. Man its way too early to say it is a failure and anyone who says it has no games are gonna be dissappointed once games start coming out and devs start getting use to working with the ps3 hardware. Its only a matter of time until u start seeing third party devs catch up to the first party devs. Same thing happened with the ps1 and ps2 launch, it was slow out the gate with games but in the end look at both of them and how much success they were. Anyone who says the PS3 is dead this early, obviously dont know wtf there talking about. Give it a year or 2 and u will see what I mean. Comeback and then lets compare the library's for all consoles. :)

It's more like the BIGGEST FLOP IN EUROPE'S history.

82% Drop, ROTFLOL.  And was to be predicted, once all the folks who wanted a cheap Blu Ray player and rabbid Cows bought their console, demand of the PS3 dropped to nothing, exactly like it has done in both the North American and Japanese market.

You can argue about all the "If's" you want, the PS3 at $600 bones aint selling good at all.  You can wish it to be true all you want, the numbers don't lie.  Once the initial release in all major markets was bought, no one else is picking up the system.  The next couple of months are even going to be worse for the PS3.

Yeah, because May, 2006, the 360 had 6 times more sales than the PS3, oh wait, it didn't, and yes, I realize the shortage, but sales are sales. The fact is, the PS3 is getting enough sales to survive, maybe they're not great, but they're not trigger man sales either.

Plus, I know quite a few people that are holding out, waiting for a price drop, as they are more than hppy with their ps2. It's more of an issue if it's worth it yet.

Ask the Atari Jaguar, and Sega CD, 32X and Sony PSX about that...Systems made from reputable companies that immediately flopped. The PS3 is not immune to failure, it has became the epitome of failure this gen.

The PS3 may have failed in terms of sales, but in reality it will surpass the 360 in 2008 with fewer games and no rumble.

Well obviously the choice should be Wii.  If you are going to call the PS3 a failure, that means the X360 is a failure as well.  Remember, they are tracking nearly identical in sales from their launch.  Right now I believe the one thing that is holding people off from purchasing an X360 is the fact it might break 6 times.  The PS3 is it has no games of worth and a huge price tag, both of which will probably be fixed this 4th qtr.  Will X360 fix their hardware by the 4th qtr?  We'll see.
