PS4 is ahead in TOTAL. I'm cleary saying on a year basis. Sony isn't 800k ahead in 2015, they are 800k ahead counting since November 2013.
So that'll be your little consolation prize while you get blown out utterly?
Whatever floats your boat. :)

That's a narrow way of looking at things. It's like ignoring every region except US and saying that the Xbox One is doing well against the PS4.
This is the NPD thread...

Ok I know it's npd. I was only comparing the silliness of both arguments. Only paying attention to two months out of the year is like paying attention to only one region in the entire world. So what if you win two or three months, you're still behind the other 9. Can't even say the Xbox is winning us, but even if it was, it still wouldn't matter if it's losing everywhere else.

You've missed one of my comments then. If Xbox One outsells PS4 like they did last year in November/December (600k), then they will have sold more consoles in USA for the complete year 2015. Sure on compared to WW sales it doesn't really have such a big effect, but this is NPD, so that doesn't matter in this topic. My comments wouldn't mean anything in a topic about WW sales, but that's not the case here. I'm solely talking about USA.

Looks like we'll see a similar trend to this year. In which case, there will still be a gap carried over to the next year. The gap is in the same spot it was last year, so it best, Xbox can break even for the year. That is not "killing it." This also assumes that PS4 won't be aggressive with their pricing, considering that they don't have much to offer in terms of exclusives. They'll kill it when they manage to revert to 2013's sales gap or less by the end of the year and continue that trend unto 2016.

So now you think you can define what I mean by using "killing it"? Arrogant much?

I'm using your definition and proving to you how it doesn't make any sense. Do you have an argument against that or are you going to continue the ad hominem?
