I played around 100 hours between a few characters on the 360. I really liked it for a while, but little annoying issues like repeating dungeons and bad level scaling got so annoying I can't even play it anymore.

[QUOTE="superfluidity"][QUOTE="locopatho"] Yeah and I enjoyed that! When a game has literally hundreds of hours of content I can forgive some of it being samey. Brownesque
The problem is, Morrowind had hundreds of hours of content without doing that. Literally every cave is hand made with hand placed unique items hidden in clever places.
Oblivion was such a degredation of the series it's really a travesty. I'll always miss that feeling of exploration.
Granted, I consider Morrowind to be the greatest game ever made mostly because of the unheard of level of detail, but I still hate Oblivion for ending that run.
It's not content if it's randomly generated. You might as well make a single room covered in goblin cave textures and just spawn goblins to kill. So I guess Diablo 2 "isn't content" either? O no randomly generated fields and rooms with samey enemies, must be crap :PI loved Morrowind, and although Oblivion was a very good game, it was a big disappointment for me when compared with it's predecessor.
Of course I hate it! It made me lose 300+ hours on it,made me curious about Nirnroots, made me kinda unsocial for quite some time (good thing I recovered) and made me disinterested in the munadne happenings around me.
The awesome graphics, excellent music, terrific sound, totally arresting gameplay................aaaargh!! Why do a game have to be this good?
oblivion is great. I originally bought it for PC, then bought a 2nd copy for 360 just so i could get the achievements while playing through it again. Poured ridiculous amounts of hours into oblivion.
This guy must have played a a different game than many of us. Vanilla Oblivion was pretty meh, but with mods, it's a good experience.Of course I hate it! The game isn't nearly as broken on the consoles as PC fanboys say it isOf course I hate it! Loved it. Not as good as Morrowind, but still an amazing game.

^ This.
Put about 500 hours into Morrowind and about 300 into Oblivion (both rough estimates). If TESV was announced i'd probably have a nerdgasm, but no i wouldnt be too happy if they decided to go the MMO route.
P.S: noticed allot of comparisons to morrowind so I'll add that it was better then morrowind...It atleast wasn't filled with loads of useless crap that was just filler in the end.

You act as if people that say "Morrowind is better" .... are just doing so to be spiteful..
Alot of people have valid, justified reasons why they would prefer Morrowind over Oblivion.
