PS3 sales will improve, obviously, but it's hard to say just how much they'll improve. I'm guessing it'll outsell the 360, but then again, it might not. I'm anxious to see the how this all plays out.
Why do so many people here care about sales?? If the Elite goes down to $299, i think people will buy that over the PS3, seeing as how ODST is right around the corner

That was 2008. This means that the PS3 is going to sell at reecord levels, the 360 will lose to the PS2 and the wii will sell less than 10% what it did before? Obvious troll is obvious.

I think with Uncharted 2 and R&C PS3 exclusives coming out that the Slim will do at least 350K in sales in October. I think September could be huge though 500K. November and December should be real high also 500K and 900K.

Whos buying a 360 for ODST if they havent already bought one for Halo 3 and Halo Wars? The way I see it the vast majority of ODST owners will be current 360 owners.

Your view does not reflect the masses. The games the masses have been wanting seem to be on the Wii. I love how he threw the cell processor in there as if that has ever factored into anyone but 5 people in their decision to get a PS3.
This is pretty close to what I think for the consoles, but reduce all the number by about 10%. Price drops will give everyone a boost but it won't give people their jobs back, restore their wages and get them back to full time hours. I think all the numbers suggesting like 500% increase in PS3 sales is a lil silly.

But soon I figured out thart people were slightly exaggerating it's power and I was crushed.After that crushing letdown, It was all about the games and Blu-ray.

lol why would the wii drop so significantly in sales? i think wii - 230,000 (nothing significant is being released i don't think), 360 - 220,000 (odst and forza might boost sales a bit), ps3 - 2 million... no 210,000 (90,000 is a decent boost over july npd, uncharted might help boost too if it comes out in october)

800,000 sold is to conservative everyone knows that the PS3 is gonna be like the wii when it first came out. Its gonna be sold out everywhere and ebay will sell them for 1200:P
