i havent got to play it yet. you forgot that in your poll.
its simple, dont vote. i cant see the poll results. but im sure its not good, seeing how every poll trashes anything not on ps3OMG YES THEY DID.
This is coming from an PC / 360 user. I'm a diehard Halo 3 fan with thousands of online matches played and I can't get over how bad I felt ripped off by bungie.
Sure if you count the fact that it includes Halo 3 multiplayer maybe it's worth the 9.0... BUT YOU CAN'T DO THAT. Almost everyone who wanted Halo 3 already has it (what have they sold like 6-8 million copies?). To the halo junkie like me your basically just buying an extremely short campaign (I beat it in 2.5 hours on legendary), Firefight and 3 new maps.
Let me review the three new things they added:
Campaign: What is with the Dark City between missions. WTF was bungie thinking. It's not even gameplay all you do is walk around this boring lifeless city with 5 enemies max between beacons. Which brings me to my next point, BEACONS! Beacons are a terrible way to advance your story and is a tired old gameplay mechanic that is rarely in games today. If Bungie removed the dark crappy city between missions your left with a 1.5 hour campaign. The campaign itself is actually has some pretty good moments I'm not going to lie. The problem is that it's way too short... I beat it in 2.5 hours on legendary with my buddy.
Firefight: This mode is alright but I can't see myself playing this. It's like a worse version of Gears of War 2 Horde mode. I'd rather play Halo multiplayer online against real opponents. Not my cup of tea but I could see why others might like it.
3 New Maps: Wow... 3 whole new maps. The worst part about Bungie's ODST scam is that you can't download this maps as DLC with regular Halo 3. That's just as bad as what they did with the new maps being on Halo Wars. It's just a scam to buy their stupid game.
Overall this game feels rushed and was never meant to be a full game. I don't care if Bungie was forced to make it a full game by Microsoft... if that was the case they should have put in the effort to make it worth it. I would have been happier if I purchased ODST for $29.99. I wasn't happy so I exchanged it at EB Games and put my money towards something else. After taxes the game cost me $80 canadian... TOTAL RIP OFF!!!
