It looks nice. I think the graphics look pretty good as well.

lol the difference in reaction from this page to the last is quite stark. Before: "WHOA MAN GAME IS COOL!" Now: "Explosions? Call of Duty?! *yawn* " I can't wait to see the epic clash of MW3 and BF3 come this holiday.enterawesome
Yea...And than the comments for the same scripted sequence of building collapsing from BF3 and people are like " whoaaa wow".Than they see this and say?Building collapsing?Meh...scripted and boring...yawn
Is this trailer the PC version or the 360/PS3 version? The graphics looks improved from MW2 to me.
GojiMaster
360 (usually is)
I thought that trailer looked awesome. I hope the campaign is longer and ramps up the excitement from MW2. I know its hard to believe, but I really enjoyed the campaign in MW2. I also thought the story was pretty good, it was just poorly told.
Just saw the trailer and thats exactly what im talking about! im very excited, all that they need to release now a trailer on the multiplayer then we'r set to go! looks like it will be my most played game again

It was ok, I guess. BF3 was pretty epic with the sudden clips .
The graphics are certainly improved, but I hope no one was expecting Bad Company 2 to Battlefield 3 jump. :| It does look much better than Black Ops (which looks a little worse that MW2).
The trailer was cool but it didn't change my opinion on the game, and likely won't for anyone else. Fun set pieces with "A Song Of Ice and Fire" storytelling :P (something IW started back in 03).
I'm more eager to see all of the new additions gameplay wise, including modes, maps, maneuverability mechanics, etc. If cover and destructable environments are true, I'm interested in seing how deep it is.
One more thing, it might have dedicated servers on consoles. This could be a misinterpretation though.

Lol the campaign in MW2 was a disjointed mess, but it was a kinda fun mess I think :P. I really enjoyed the end. So over-the-top. The AI was just terrible though lol.
I understand why people aren't fond of the series, but I think they should wait until all the details are available to write it off.

How can people even compare BF3 graphics shown(highest settings,DX11,580GTX) with console,60fps footage from MW3?Thats just borderline stupid...It would be cool to see IW going for 30fps...I bet people would than bit** about it not being 60fps.
People just think consoles are that strong, remember that some say consoles can do Crysis 1.Is this trailer the PC version or the 360/PS3 version? The graphics looks improved from MW2 to me.
GojiMaster
Watch the trailer some more and it will look more and more the same as Mw2 and blops. Its the same exact engine with little improvement. The excessive amount of specular mapping is fimiliar, the explosions, and everything else are the same. Robert Bowling is nothing but a tool....

Can you reasonably expect them to go any further on 6 year old hardware and run at 60 FPS? I don't think so. And what does Bowling have to do with this?
Is the trailer from PC or console? The BF3 fanboys haven't seen their version on console yet... however, I doubt it will a huge improvement over Bad Company 2

Yeah, I'm fully aware of the fact. I've seen some comments criticizing the graphics and I posed that idea to generally ask "What exactly do you expect?". Its also worth noting that no one has seen the console versions of Battlefield 3 lol.
COD is currently the only shooter on consoles (and one of the few games in general) that runs at 60fps. That's one of the reasons people enjoy it so much. Because it's fast and smooth. They could go to 30fps and I wouldn't mind. Hell I don't even play COD anymore lol.
Anyway, I think it looks good. Good as it needs to look.
(Note: you should edit that "b word" in your post like I have it. It's not censored properly!)

Twitter- Bowling said that there will be destruction and a new engine.
He actually tweeted the opposite about the engine. He said it would be a waste of resources to make a new engine for a hypothetical new CoD game a while back. As for destruction, I don't ever remember him saying that and the trailer doesn't disprove him at all. There was destruction in the trailer, scripted or not.I'll pick it up for my 360 mostly to play with friends. That's the main draw for me. I'll still get BF3, where I'll go for the competitive MP. Glad I got a bunch of friends who recently got into PC gaming thanks to SC2.
It's just like any Michael Bay movie, the trailers look epic, but when you play the game, it's a disapointment :P
Im hyped for it though :P
All I could think during that whole trailer was REHASH! Absolutely nothing new, same old looking gameplay, this is going to be a definite rent. Ugh, and that horrible cliche "hollywood" transformers-esque music, I feel bad for anybody excited for this trash.-RocBoys9489-

Ghost died I thought.
He did.So did Roach.
So WW3 is going to last all of 4 hours damn that must be some kind of record. This trailer did nothing for me graphics really haven't been improved and it looks like its going to be another convoluted story arch that leaves you scratching your head "going what the hell just happened",. Then there's the multi that will have all the same old draw backs and issue's that every CoD suffers from since 4. Not this time if you want the true successor of CoD you'll have to wait until next year.

We can all bash call of duty and activision all we want, but that trailer did look pretty epic.

Not on SW, if it doesn't have a new engine like BF3 it looks terrible.
