So who else is NOT buying this and plans on watching it on Ustream?

Luckily, when BF3 is shown at E3, I think many people will start to have different feelings. DICE is gonna blow the roof off, they haven't spent years on the game for nothing, they were crafting the next gen of military action FPS. Who knows.[QUOTE="-RocBoys9489-"]
[QUOTE="Lto_thaG"]
Yes.
That's something you should worry about.Lto_thaG
I just saw the trailer; honestly, it seemed like it could have been a trailer for any current modern FPS. All it showed was typical FPS action, with nothing to make it look different than other games in the genre. Overall, it was what I expected to see, which is a COD game that looks almost exactly like the previous games in the series.
Who knows.[QUOTE="Lto_thaG"]

im sorry, people. this trailer interests me alot more than any of the footage I have seen of BF3. And im not even a big COD fan.

We can all bash call of duty and activision all we want, but that trailer did look pretty epic.

Not on SW, if it doesn't have a new engine like BF3 it looks terrible.
There's nothing wrong with not having a new engine, it's just that when you use the same one on the same game 7 years in a row, things start to get ridiculous.64 player MP footage = Game over :P I'm buying the console version,so no 64 for me :P And that's why I'm building my first gaming PC ever, that and the Witcher 2 + Arma3[QUOTE="-RocBoys9489-"]

I'm looking forward to both.Lto_thaG

WHO's HAPPY!!!!!!!!!! I heard that it's supposed to be WWIII and the plot revolves around that
TheBertus57
Well it says WW3 near the end of the trailer right before the first letter flips over so it becomes MW3 :) Regardless, the trailer looks fantastic, but we want to see real gameplay, not a montage of scripted moments. Only about 10 seconds of that was actual gameplay (the C4, reloading of gun, and them hooking up to a fence). Even if it's amazing though, there are no chances of me getting it, no way Modern Warfare 3 will ever top Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, and Skyrim (all coming out in November). I'm talking about quality of course, sales is a different matter (although Battlefield has a chance of selling better, at least a better chance than Uncharted 3 and Skyrim, especially with Advertisements starting up THIS early).

I always thought it looked like a lame fantasy game, til I watched some gameplay a couple days ago and now I want to play it so bad LOL. It looks like Oblivion but much improved since it's been over 5 years since it came out.[QUOTE="Lto_thaG"] I'm buying the console version,so no 64 for me :P

People on the internet are being a little unfair comparing PC footage to console footage.
I think people will be very surprised on the new additions to MW3. The hiphopgamer was raving about how good the new MW3 multiplayer is on his website-- he has apparently seen footage from activision. He said there have been some new additions to the game that should astound.
Lol, you can literally substitute it for MW2 and you wouldnt know the difference.i liked it, but not falling for it as easy as mw2......

People always do this. They're always like "OMG MW is old and rehashed I'll never buy it"
Then launch day comes "OMG Guys I bought MW day one its so great"
And ten days later "OMG This game is same as the last one why did I buy it"
...And the cycle repeats.

I'm going tbh, that was me with black ops. But I admit I was wrong now. MW3 will be awesome. Rehash? Don't care. It's still fun. Screw all haters.Lol, you can literally substitute it for MW2 and you wouldnt know the difference.[QUOTE="DroidPhysX"][QUOTE="eboyishere"]

Shows how much activision marketing affects the community. Explains why they charged $15/DLC. To make up for the marketing budget.[QUOTE="adamlovesu"][QUOTE="peterw007"]Shows how much activision marketing affects the community. Explains why they charged $15/DLC. I like you. that show is a ****ing piece of ****ing ****!
It's a very well created formula though, we all know they're mostly rehashes but they're so dang fun that we just can't help buying them :P IMO though, MW2 was much more fun than Black Ops, but it's just so cheap and unbalanced, a balanced MW2 would honestly be the best CoD game ever.
Everyone says this to try and take some of the hype away. But you **** well know you will be first in line at a GS midnight launch. No one wants to be that guy playing an old game while 70 of your friends log into mw3 at midnightinteresting... could've been better... One asterisk for every censored letter is generally how that works. Can you count?

I despise all geek shows. The Office is a fine examplecod is really becoming SSDD level stuff. it's like FPS madden style. I'll still probably get it and find out how the world is saved.

It's not always that way, and nope, I lost my ability to count when I saw the MW3 trailer. It was so awesome I forgot math.
