Achivements are very addicting. Also we all know 360 is getting Exclusive content. meh, i buying 2 copies of the game anyway.

The big question, to me, is: Do you guys think that GTAIV will have any type of multiplayer or co-op?  I sure hope so.

I think its wayy too early to say if GTA4 will be revolutionary...the trailer is called 'things will be different' but that could mean anything. However, I'm willing to bet that Rockstar are holding back something pretty big. z_gaming_master

Ok Rockstar gave us clues to whats part of the games.... i am 99.1% certain that we are gonna be able to goto other citys/states... look above the "99cents" sign... it says "Visit Vice City $300"

the graphics are a huge wow from me best looking free roam game by a big margin the dynamic lighting on such a huge scale is gonna be amazing the city/cities are gonna look completely diffrent at diffrent times of the day as the speeded up footage shows!! correct me if im wrong but i think thats a first for a game of this scale and freedom. I never thought rockstar would wow me with gta graphics but they just did

and just thinking about all the stuff the trailer doesnt show makes my anticipation for the next trailer hard to bare, stuff like sounds effects music, the diffrent kinds of vehicles(bikes,helicopters!!!) the gameplay, man no doubt there is so much more to this than we got to see in the trailer

this is a new generation with a brand new from the ground up GTA just like GTA3 was in 2001, and with nothing else on the horizon that looks half as interesting .....i think its in with a good chance

Plus the Graphics are great for a huge game like GTA.. It is much more harder to develope a Huge game with pretty graphics than a game with smaller linear levels.. Most average gamers don't realizes that..

 The Graphics looks better than most MMORPG, ES:Oblivion or other huge games imo..

I will probably end up doing the same thing.  360 version for achievements and PS3 version for trophies (hopefully).

Halo 3, Mass Effect and Bioshock beg to differ, but yeah it's one hell of a candidate for GOTY, the trailer looks superb 

and I found myself just clicking play over and over again, the graphics are a lot better than I expected them to be. I hope 

they add some more diversified cities along with LC as I never really liked LC but I trust R* will do a great job, I also hope

 for some kind of co-op mode, San Andreas' was fun but short lived. 

Can I import my super agent from Crackdown into GTAIV???  The video looks cool, but I can't help but think about how "flat" the game is going to play - everything is on street level.  Whereas, when you play Crackdown, it plays vertically as well as on ground level.  I was sad to see that there weren't any Agility Orbs anywhere in the video... :(REVENGEotSITH

San Andreas wasn't California. It was based on California.

Just like Liberty City is based on New York and Chicago.

I don't really care as long as it fits into the theme of the game. Like with SA I generally don't like rap but I loved the soundtrack because it fit the theme of SA. Same story with VC and GTAIII.

Since they're making LC into what looks to be a busy city, less gritty than III, then I'd assume the music will be lively rock/hip-hop and since it's present day I think we can assume they'll have a lot of RnB and Pop in it too...which isn't exactly a good thing but I don't care as long as it fits the theme.

Manhattan, or its look alike, is bright and preppy. But there is a darker area that I'm taking as the Bronx. Its the area were the car drives over the metal grate with the apartments in the left side of the sceen, its not like the Times Square area. I'm betting that the areas will each be different.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I personally think Rockstar showed the statue of liberty in the trailer as a message to fans that LC is being totally reworked. I'm very confident though that the "Visit Vice City" sign is a indication that LC is not the only city in this game. I can't imagine how huge the map is going to be. 

I think the music is a key part of the game. I've loved all their choices in the past so I'm confident they'll pull off another great achievement. I hope there are more talk radio stations though. Do you remember Amy on Kchat in VC? All those interviews made me laugh out loud.

This is what I had written in one of my Unions about GTA IV.

Here's the thing, we don't know which cities besides Liberty will be in GTA IV. For all we know R* could put in Libery, Vice, Los Santos, San Fiero, Las Venturas and then the main map for GTA IV which you'll be spending most your time on.
At least, thats what I'm expecting them to do.

The teaser was GREAT! I am one of those who are sick and tired of GTA games but the teaser made me excited and interested in the game. It really sparks your imagination for how the game will be, and some of the footage was even beautiful :D
