@Zassimick: I've listen to most of the audio lore in the #huntthetruth campaign and I think I've pieced together the plot of the new game. I won't spoil it though.
It's just a rearrangement of the chords from the Halo theme... and that's it. There was barely any melody, dynamics, or harmonisation that Bungie's Halo games had in their prime.
If Marty's original score was a wonderfully sung aria, what you've posted there was a deaf guy trying to reinterpret it. I'm not kidding. It was shit.

I'm not kidding, no one legit cares what you think.

Can't wait, excited to do some more of that Arena style mode that was in the beta (with just one life) and of course Warzone. Interested to do the campaign coop with a friend to.
As for what GS gives it, 8 or 9 I will say.
The game looks packed to the brim with content, the new Forge mode is looking cool to, glad they are taking there time with that.
Halo hype is real. There isn't one game that comes close to the amount of content that is generated besides the actual game so that you are part of a bigger story than just a game. All those trailers, stories, series can't wait to see it all and then play Halo
Seriously though, it's funny that people who cry about Destiny offering cosmetic stuff with microtransactions will tell you that they are perfectly fine in Halo where you can actually buy stuff that helps you in Warzone. Derp.
@RR360DD: Oh my goodness, that sounds absolutely amazing. After how disappointing Halo 4's soundtrack was, this just sounds epic, and that swelling crescendo at the end... shivers.
Gah, come on Microsoft and 343, bring Halo back to its glory, please.
Halo 5 the best value ever for €60, I can't believe they're giving us all the Multiplayer maps for free, I always feel left out in games like COD and Battlefield because I never buy the season passes or purchase any of the map packs and I usually move on to other games same with Destiny that sh*t forces you to buy DLC, but with Halo 5, I think I'll be playing it for a long time
I hope more Dev's do this in the future and give us the complete package for being fan's

Man, that sucks to hear you weren't happy with Halo 4's soundtrack. :( There was no way they were going to match the iconic score Marty O'Donnell came up with for the original game when trying to do something new, but what they did compose became one of my favorite video game soundtracks.
Just a few of my favorite pieces from Halo 4's OST:
117 - Kazuma Jinnouchi
Arrival - Neil Davidge
Green and Blue - Neil Davidge
And for Halo 5: Guardians, Kazuma Jinnouchi is the lead composer who the guy that did the piece, "117." If you're keeping up with 343's web series, The Sprint, then you'll have seen the first episode of season 3 titled, "Composer." The episode focuses on the music of the upcoming game and it's really insightful, but my favorite bit is starting around 10:45 when they play the piece "Blue Team" from the upcoming game which is an evolution of "117."
I voted AAAA. This is 343i opportunity to erase Master Chief Collection Launch disaster and prove themselves. The game just seems epic, and my AAAA is going in faith that campaign co-op will be brilliant and replayability out the wahzoo and will be the standard that other devs look at for implementing co-op gaming for current gen consoles, as well as just bolstering the future for devs to offer epic co-op experiences with a story campaign.
Cool Stats API accessible for everyone. If anyone has a cool idea, let me know, I might do something with it.
In addition to announcing the launch day Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer playlists today, developer 343 Industries revealed that it is opening up the game's application program interface (API) for everyone. What this means is that anyone can take player statistics from the game to build new websites or apps. 343 says giving players access to game data was a "top priority" during the course of Halo 5's development.
Halo 5's API will give developers access to the following:
Service Record (Life-to-date stats for each player)
Match History (Access to each match played)
Carnage Report (Complete statistical breakdown for each player in a match)
"Giving the community the ability to compile stats will allow developers to craft their own statistical story and experiences," 343 said.
This doesn't replace the API's existing functionality on Halo Waypoint and the Halo Channel, however.
Right now, the Halo 5 API is in private beta. 343 is working with professional and community organizations, including gaming leagues such as the ESL and MLG, as well as community sites like Halo Charts and Halo Tracker. The Halo 5 API will be available to everyone else "around the same time" that the game launches.
"We know you'll surprise and delight us with inventive and unexpected uses, and we can't wait to see what you develop and share with the Halo community later this year and beyond," 343 said.
The Halo 5 release date is set for October 27 exclusively for Xbox One.
At first I thought I was going to watch, but I've decided not to. I want that experience all to myself before seeing something when somebody else is playing.

I would too if I was for getting it. I'm still on the fence...so off i go!
@FastRobby: yeah they are pretty much spoiling it live I opened it and turned it off. Very first scene is a big spoiler
I'm not watching a gosh darn thing, reading any article or even paying attention to advertisement. Doing my best not to spoil the game, although I imagine some pricks will do their best to post spoilers, I'm not too concerned about the story, because they can reverse anything they want in a later game if they wish. I just dont want to see levels, characters and such so its all fresh when I first play it.

destiny also packed in over 100 dollars of DLC. Halo 5 has all free DLC and all the micro transactions can be earned in game by playing. and none effect the balance of the competitive modes.

Please explain how the microtransaction system works in Halo 5, in detail, and then tell us what is so wrong with it. Because I have noticed that a lot of people are not aware of how it works.
