6.0. Hmmm, considering how negative the review is throughout I'd have expected a lower score than a 6. :?

That reviewer is going to get fired now...

Free Radical's biggest mistake was in creating their own engine from the ground up for Haze instead of porting one.

That was a very critical mistake, since it not only resulted in a visually poor game, but it also left them with less time and resources to spend on gameplay and other things.

Look like it still manage to get a B score on GS. Glad to see it isn't that bad. Now hopefully Free Radical doesn't screw up on TS4.

No, 3.5 is pretty bad, 6.0 is exactly what it says it is, "fair". If 6.0 was "pretty bad", it would say "pretty bad" not "fair".

"A" is above average, and therefore, more than solid.

I wouldn't say a 6.0 is horrendous, but judging by the negative tone throughout the review (with very little being said that was actually positive, and even those were minor points) and my experience with the demo, I'd say it most certainly should have scored less.

the day after playing the demo i predicted 6.5, saying i found it completely souless which was surprising seeing as its from free radical

i know its damage control but beyond the fact that it was an exclusive i didnt think there was too much cow hype for this mess

I have no idea, the demo was terrible, and ign is the most unbias review site there is, and gave it a 4.5, so, I have that to go on, but, having not played the full version, I can't say whether the 6.0 is justified or not, what I am saying, is it's surprising, as I'd rank the demo, and demo alone, as...welll...a 4.5, like IGN said.

For sure it is, but, until I play the full version, demo made me switch my preorder to prizefighter, found it that bad, but, until I play the full version, which I may never honestly, I can't comment on whether it's "Fair" or not, we're simply discussing the gamespot rating, which rates it as a "solid if unspectacular" "fair" rating.
