Same, i mean i knew IGN also UK and AU but i'v always thought its more like GameSpot where it just share the same score on all of them, think its strange if each scores a game diffrently

Eh different locations/reviewers do different reviews. That's why on metacritic IGN AU US and UK are always listed, even if they review scores are sometimes the same. For example Uncharted 2, IGN US and AU gave it 95, UK gave it 90.

Yeah, I know, but I am limiting my spending this year. I pissed away money on that GT5 CE and I regret that horribly now so I have to cancel my LBP2 to balance it out. I am done with CEs.

Yeah the GT5 one wasnt worth it at all, you should have gone for the game itself alone, a friend of mine also regret getting its CE. the last big CE i got was God of War 3 and that one was so worth it, LBP2 looks like its gonna be another worth buying CE for me. tbh the plushie alone sold me :P

Wut? Go to IGN UK PS3. Click the LBP2 review. It goes to the global (US?) one. Same with AU. http://uk.ps3.ign.com/

It's because you live in that region. I live in new zealand so it always sends me to the AU site. I can still read US and UK articles/reviews, just have to notice the top of the article that will say US or UK.

they used to do multiple reviews of the same game, they don't anymore, greg millers 9/10 is the only review IGN will do

I don't normally do preorders... and I don't normally do collector's editions... But I went to Gamestop yesterday to preorder the collector's edition. They told me they weren't allowed to take any more preorders for it though. Is that something that happens often when its still a few weeks away from release date? It made me go all sad-face.

Yep i knew it, its been sold out now, not surprised its such an amazing CE so everyone pre-ordered it a long time ago, heck i pre-ordered this like 4 months ago. its pretty normal yeah, CoD CEs were sold out months before release, keep looking i guess

Lots of sequels get higher scores than the first... SMG: 9.5, SMG2: 10. Resistance: 8.6, R2: 9. Forza: 9.2, FM2: 9.2, FM3: 9.5. Uncharted: 8, U2: 9.5. So yeah, games get the same score, or a higher score than their predecesor pretty frequently.

Forza Motorsports and Forza 2 both got 9.2. Of course, they were on different consoles. Also, COD4:MW, COD:MW2, and COD:BO all got 9 on PS3 and 360. Halo 3 and Halo Reach both got 9.5. Assassin's Creed and AC2 both got 9.

It is more common for sequels to score higher or lower, but some franchises stay pretty consistent.

If you make a level in LBP1, and people play it using LBP2, will those plays/hearts contribute to earning the trophies in LBP1? Or will the levels not be directly playable by people in 2 without you first importing it and republishing it? I think it'd be kind of cool if the community stuff got shared between the games. They'd just have to make levels made in lbp2 that used features not in the first game pop up a message kinda like they do when a level has stuff from a dlc you haven't bought.

Im not too sure to be honest, i think is going to be shared between the 2 games, i mean last time i played the beta it showed me how many hearts i used to have. i loved how LBP2 also saved every single comment i left on peoples levels. shows you the time you posted it and which user if you ever thought about adding them. i tried not to play the beta too much so i dont spoil anything :P. i like waiting till the full game is out
