the first 1 set the standard and the second 1 exceeds the standard Renzokucant

The first one might have set the standard.. but between that and the second one other games might have came out to raise the bar even further(like, for example, an AAAAE platformer).

I expected it to hit the 9.5 easily but a 9.0 is amazing as well.

So I watched the review and browsed through the written, maybe I didn't notice or missed it, but they did talk about Move controls at all? I've been playing and man some of the levels are really good and unique, and I thought to myself how can anyone use the Move controls with it. I also went to the Extras option and it included Prehistoric Moves. Haven't played it yet, so hopefully I can because I don't have a Move controller.

the game will support both move and normal controller, you shouldnt worry about that

LittleBigPlanet is primarily a level designer though. I fail to see how SMG2 would effect it. :P

it deserved 9.5, major improvements over the 1st one.

i think gs fails again, i bet if another same old halo came out tomorrow it would still get 9.5

I'd take AAAEs over Kinect sales figures any day. It's probably a good time to think about what side you're on :P

I'm expecting this to be the first of many AAAE's for PS3 unless we see another flop-tastic year like 2010 was

ODST and GT5 are two completely different games.

I've been watching some vids and I have to say it does look like a lot of fun. Definitely an improvement over the original.

That must show why Halo Reach and 3 scored higher than LBP and LBP2..... ...oh wait...it didn't. IceBlazerX

On Gamespot? Yeah they did.

I still have little interest in this game, but this will make for an even more enjoyable end-of-year exclusives tally. 8)

A sequel can be better than its predecessor and score the same! A 9.0 for LBP2 in 2011 isn't the same as a 9.0 for LBP1 in 2008.

LBP2 is gonna own. Hopefully, I'll be able to play starting Tuesday :P.

Although I'm not into the game called little big planet, I am quite happy that such an original game has gotten the accolades it probably deserves. My heartfelt congratulations go out to the people that waited for the game to come out.

Why are people comparing Halo and Little Big Planet when they're nothing a like?

Anyway good score, I wasn't into the first LBP but I'll def give LBP2 a shot
