Official numbers: XBOX still ahead.

I love how cows complain, this really eats at them. Some facts i've seen on this thread:

-Wii was released at the same time as PS3, its not behind in sales.

-360 owners didn't have to rebuy a console, they got free ones if they got RROD, and those aren't included in sold units, they're actually a loss to MS.

-The gap is widening, meaning that month to month sales of the 360 is increasing over that of the PS3.

-Xbox brand was only in the console race for 3 years before outing the 360 and blasting Sony (a 10 year gaming vetran) to last place.

It also makes me laugh how cows will bend some information using forms of math and long division that try to put their cherished ps3 in better light. Guys, it just plain hasn't sold more units than the 360 brand. Deal with it, and this is for you:

Its pretty impressive that Sony is still dead last because of all the adversities they had to overcome that were the result of their incompetence and no one elses.

360 came into this gen by discontinuing the original xbox and now xbox live is a synonym for online console gaming.

But lets continue to give sony all the credit for not going bankrupt. Hats off to you Sony. Setting the bar real low.

It's one of the reasons why I bought a PS3 it and sold the Xbox 360.

Which 1st party games have come out that I am missing out on since I sold my Xbox 360?

Multiplatform titles such as Portal 2 give me a hell of a better deal on the PS3 than they would on the Xbox 360. Buying the Xbox 360 version would make me a fool.

No, I like having more options. Having multiplatform titles as the only option is great and all, but I'd rather take those (with extra content) and an exclusive library.

I have already played Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable. I am talking about upcoming. And most of those are also available on my PC if I ever choose to go back to them (but multiplayer would be the only reason).

Multiplats have been better on PS3 this whole year.

PSN being down for 3 weeks, isn't below the belt; I don't pay for the service. Although, back when I was paying $50+ tax for Xbox Live, I expereinced down time that was a bit annoying since, you know, I paid for the service and all.

The interface is the only thing that I miss, those drop-down menus on the PS3's dash are horrendous. But since I play video games and don't want to stare at advertisements for men's aftershave all day, it's no big deal.

I've played and beaten what I was interested in already on the Xbox 360; it's now time for me to look at future releases and there are only 2 that I would have purchased if I kept my Xbox 360: Forza Motorsport 4 and Gears of War 3.

Now explain to me how that is any different in "taste" than what you guys have been spouting on this forum?

Fight Night Champion's Metascore- 86 on the 360, 84 on the PS3

Shift 2: Unleashed Metascore- 82 on the 360, 81 on the PS3

Marvel vs Capcom 3's Metascore- 85 on the 360, 84 on the PS3

Top Spin 4's Metascore- 84 on the 360, 82 on the PS3

ALL these games are higher rated on the 360. And this is AFTER considering the fact that the PS3 versions have lesser number of reviews. The only multiplatform this year that has a higher score on the PS3 is Crysis 2. Even Portal 2, which was supposed to be best on the PS3, has the same Metascore on both the systems. So that argument of yours fails. Hard.

only 3.6 million difference? Wow. I'm predicting PS3 overtakes 360 at the end of 2011 though (because of the bucketloads of fantastic exclusives coming to PS3, and more exclusives means more advertising montages = more customers :D). Get ready to see Kevin Butler rocking your TV screens again :P

LA Noire's Metascore- 90 on the 360 and 89 on the PS3. Yet the PS3 version of the game is still better, both from Eurogamer's Digitalfoundry and Lens of Truth. The metascore means that there were more reviewers reviewing the Xbox 360 version.

DiRT 3's Metascore- 89 for 360, 88 for PS3. I don't see how Dirt 3 was a game people were actually interested in, but the same reason as above. More Xbox 360 review sites available. And you are saying it is better due to 1 point? What was the DF and LoT comparison for this game?

Dead Space 2's Metascore- 90 on the 360, 89 on the PS3. Didn't the game get a 9.0 on the PS3 and an 8.5 on the Xbox 360 on GameSpot due to the PS3 version being the better value?

Mortal Kombat's Metascore- 86 on the 360, 84 on the PS3 More Xbox 360 review sites, as always.

You're living the year of the PS3 ;) Infamous 2 in June, Resistance 3 in September, Uncharted 3 in November, there are plenty of games, and PS3 already has future 2012 releases in the bag (Starhawk, The Last Guardian). All these exclusives are just going to get buried (sales wise) from all these great MULTIPLATS. MW3, BF3, AC:R = Monster Blockbusters. What will uncharted 3 sell like 3.5 million copies?

Sony better release all the "exclusives" before September 1st.

Kinect games? Bah, yes :evil: those games. I've noticed that the Kinect craze died down a bit though, I don't want 360 to continue beating PS3 sales just because of Kinect :( if 360 were to continue beating PS3 in sales; I would want it to happen because of a future great lineup of exclusive games (non-shovelware ones).

Why do the sales of Uncharted 3 matter to you? Does that determine the quality of the game? Well, seeing how you keep lauding the 7.2% sales lead the Xbox 360 has over the PS3, I can understand why.

And for crying out loud, why the hell do dip****s keep supporting Activision?

What have they done that is GOOD for the industry?

BF3, on the other hand, is something that shouldn't go unnoticed. EA hasn't been as bad, but then again, they've been giving me free extra content on my Blu-ray discs.

XVision84 is implying that PS3 will overtake the X360 by the end of 2011. All I'm saying is exclusives like uncharted 3 will not make a difference. As a matter of fact I think most people will pick up a X360 for Gears of War 3 rather than a PS3 for uncharted 3. That just my opinion.
