Sony won by a wide margin. But that's not saying a whole lot. E3 was poor all around this year. Next year I won't even watch. Some good came of all three conferences (Animal Crossing, WiiSpeak, God of War, MAG, Geometry Wars II, FFXIII), but nothing like the way E3 used to be.
None of the press conferences were all that great. You know, before the press conferences started and some people were saying E3 was irrelevant I didn't believe them. Now I'm just not sure. Hopefully there will be some interesting stuff once E3 really starts up.
Without a doubt I can safely say that Microsoft won this E3, Sony and Nintendo were average at best and Microsoft surprised everyone by announcing that they are getting the biggest game of 2009.
Sony's was the best. Microsofts was crap, however they had a shock annoucnement, you know what it is ^_~. Nintendo's, well don't get me started on that. Sony's was consistent, and their stage was fantasticly set up, everyone can agree on that :P.
How can people honestly say Sony won this E3? You have to be joking me. It was the most boring next to Nintendo's E3. Microsoft are the only ones that didn't brag about useless crap like sales and video rental crap. It should all be about the games.
I said Sony, I appreciated that they at least attempted to unveil new titles like MAG and the new ratchet, but overall everyone failed pretty miserably. It didn't change my perceptions that Microsoft has the best upcoming line-up with Nintendo lagging behind. And wtf was with the 10 minute video about Gran Turismo tv...it was so stupid.
wow how are people voting for sony? if you go to the acual ps3 blog everyones all crying about how sony sucked the big one, and they are the acual ps3 fans. this poll is very suprising. But I guess people would just lie in a poll anyway, even if they know the microsoft one was better, they would vote for ps3 just because they are a fanboy.
MS had only 1 announcement that was seemengly intersesting, I heard it was boring other than the FFXIII announcement Nindendo=WTF Sony was boring too but there was more than one interesting thing in there

And exactly how many new titles did the MS show that we didnt know about? Lips? How many new IP's did they show? Lips?
Quite frankly, they were all bad, but atleast Sony delivered on the games department and renewed people's hope in the PSN.

I'd say MS as they had the biggest unveil of a whole new dash and the exclusive steal at the end.
Sony is close in second, but they didn't really show anything new except a prerendered trailer for God of War 3, and barely mentioned their oh so coveted Home and Killzone.
Nintendo....really needs to stop making games with "Wii" in the title.
