It seems to me that they (MS) spent more time showing sales charts and quite a bit of time showing their netflix feature and even more time copying nintendo and sony features while trying to claim the ideas as innovating.

The psp had a STRONG showing- portable SSHD, Valkyrie chronicles,resistance retribution

I find it funny That when they asked Reggie why he left the hardcore hanging.

When I watched the nintendo-conf i was left dissapointed but with sony's I was feeling glad about my purchase. price cuts, psn-updates, lots of new games etc. The only thing microsoft had was already announced titles and this "megaton" they had was announcing a game that's already for the ps3.

In reality, this affects PS3 only a little in the long run, as FF13 is still multiplat and the other half of the FF13 package is still PS3 exclusive.

FF13 wasn't stolen, it's being shared. If it jumped ship than THAT would have been huge.

I'd say MS. I mean, they showed Fallout 3, Gears 2, Fable II and RE 5. And, of course, that surprise...

I loved Nintendo's Wii Sports Resort, and Sony's GoW 3 mini trailer (a teaser, actually), but they were no match for MS.

We got to see Fable 2, Gears 2, Fallout 3 and RE5. What games did Sony show that we will be playing this year?

Portal on the arcade > all those PSN games. I will say some of those PSN games did look good.

Netflix on XBl is awesome.

And FF on the Xbox. Yes, MS had the best showing this year.

Quite frankly, they were all bad, but atleast Sony delivered on the games department and renewed people's hope in the PSN.

The partnership with Netflix is huge. Fallout 3 exclusive DLC, That game show/playable stuff looks very interesting, Portal exculsive on the arcade, many other exclusive arcade game. MS talked about their console not a failing handheld, or old system. Total overhaul of they way LIVE looks, the avatar gimmick which some people may care about. Then GeoW footage was nice. Anything else oh yeah they also took an exclusive away from sony which is a big slap in the face. Also it will happen again when 360 gets Tekken 6:P

What did Sony do besides hype MMO's and debut a weak GOW3 trailer? Whatever, I guess fanboys are happy so who am I to bring them down. Sony's was pretty lame for me personally, I was hoping for at least some GOW3 gameplay or a Team Ico announcement. Well yeah, cows needed something to talk about and the Sony conf. just ended so what do you expect. I think MS won the show with FF13 alone, but i was pretty excited to see the new dashboard update, avatars, and the GeoW 2 and Fable 2 footage. Oh and BK on XBLA = another instant win. :D

well judging from their conferences it all depends

the xbox 360 is my primary console and it showed a lot for me. gears, RE5, banjo, new dashboard showing was great

i have a playstation 3 as a second console and im only buying exclusives for it, and to be honest it didnt do to much for me, i dont own a psp, dont care about ps online, and i have to play little big planet first before i can say whether i like it or not, resistance was the only game that looked interesting, the announcement of GOW3 was good but ive never played those games, but it is good to know that there are games coming out

as for nintendo, they stunk horribly, they didnt show ANYTHING that i liked. if i dont see anything after this weeks finished ill probably sell my wii, it sucks to even think that about that but i dont want to wait every year for 1 or 2 games to come out

so in my eyes microsoft had a lot of info that catered to my needs, but sony's showing and presentation was awesome

New games? I said nothing about new games. I know all the press conferences suck when it comes to new games. But when it came to focusing on games Microsoft wins this one. I mean what did Sony have to show? RFOM 2 another boring generic first person shooter to add to there list, a sales presentation using little big planet? = snore, 60 seconds of Home= oh wow thanks sony, video rental service- whoopied dooo. GoW3 teaser=yawn. God what else was there seriously. Oh yes MAG? 256 Players 1 world. Wow big deal.

Anyway, I have to say it again, Nintendo's showing was a failure and they deserved to be mocked till the end of this generation for it. Similar to the PS3 2006 E3 conference.

I liked the demoes from Microsoft for Fallout, RE5, Fable and Gears 2. FFXIII was huge as well. Sony was more of watching new CGI videos and not much more. Nintendo was just downright embarassing. I'll rank them: Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo.

However, FFXIII is still exclusive in Japan for Sony so they can walk out with one thing good out of this :Pthrones

It can't, FF13 is still exclusive in Japan (which will pull the sales at least 2-3 million aboves 360 FF13),half of the ff13 package is still exclusive to the PS3 so most FF fans would stay PS3. GTA4 didn't push nearly any consoles, while MGS4 did. Do you think people are gonna rush out for 360s at FF13 release? Or do you think they'll get a PS3 so they can play Versus as well? Be realistic.

Given sales of recent JRPGs for the 360 I'd say FF13 will sell around 2 million which is great for SE and the 360 owners that want to try the franchise out. Big news for SE profit wise.
