Amazing that they are giving ALL account holders 2 free games... for a service that is free from the beginning. Sony is truly awesome.

edit: hopefully if I have enough space... I'll be downloading Wipeout HD. Doubt I have enough room for 2.. but I'll def redeem another and just hold off on the download for a later date.

I'd seen a post earlier leading me to believe that there would also be free PSP games as well?

If so, does anyone know what games will be available?

Meh Quest for Booty doesn't even have trophies and it's about the size of a DLC/Expansion but I may get it. It's either that and Dead Nation or Wipeout HD. I've got the rest.

3) Modnation

4) LBP(PSP)

I am gonna enjoy these free games as the PSN outage didnt bother me in the slightest. So yeah, big thank you to all the people who suffered for the free games :P

I already have Killzone: Liberation. I have LittleBigPlanet 1/2 & ModNation Racers on PS3. Pursuit Force is the only PSP game I'm interested in, but that's good enough.

I own all of them except dead nation and played them all to death.

I don't have Fury expansion but I've played so much Wipeout and coupled with my huge backlog I prolly won't touch it for a while. Oh well its free I guess. Really wanted MAG to be free or at least discounted.

And need to be able to play a PSP games on the PS3. At least I would get a chance to play them, as I will never own another PSP again.

It's really a bummer for people in your situation (heck, I own a lot of these games). But, it's not like they knew what games you happened to own, and did it to spite you :P.

They tried to offer the best games they could, but can't please all of the 77 million users. Would be nice if they offered a game that you don't own, but that's just not probable.

Edit: There's still the month subs for PS+ and Music Unlimited (which I'll take advantage of)... :\ And free Home stuff :P.

I wonder what MS would offer its subscribers if Live went down now. Sony raised the bar for offering this much for the temporary loss of a free service.

Huge for them, not for us. They are compensating us for temporarily losing the ability to use a service we don't pay for, when the reason we lost it wasn't even their fault.

It cost them an arm and a leg to rebuild it this quickly, but they are really going out of their way to compensate us.

I just wonder what MS would do in a similar situation.

I understand how people feel about the PS+ offer. Personally, I've planned on getting it sometime soon, and I think I'll renew it right before this trial ends.

I think you get to keep discounted items though. Well, 30 days to finish some games isn't so bad, I guess. Maybe you can subscribe right before the Uncharted 3 beta starts :P?

It kinda sucks considering I already bought all but on of these games..So I guess I'll just get Dead Nation since it's free, I really don't think I'll ever play it though, I mean the last thing I want to do is play some average zombie game. Why can't we get the choice of $20 to the playstation store or 2 free games? That would make me so much happier.

I'm probably gonna end up getting Infamous and Wipeout HD or maybe Dead Nation if my buddies get that.

I'll be choosing Infamous no doubt, but i'm not that sure about the second one, first i thought about Dead Nation, but it doesn't seem that fun, and i'm not really a Ratchet fan, i going to have to check some of the other options.

I have every single one of these games, but traded in LBP when LBP2 came out so I will get that. And Mod nation and Pursuit force for PSP....

It looks like gamespot has bad scores for downloadable PSN titles compared to the all the other reviewers...why is that?

honestly imfamouse looks like the best game on the list, i think they are using this as an oppurnity to sell more copies of infamouse 2... even sowill be getting infamous, not sure what else...
