We should all be pretty sure that the DLC will score a 9 but should it count in system wars?
Personally I would say no because its not a new game and it would only be fair that the DLC for Sony games also count (warhawk and MGS4)

Of course, not only is it exclusive content, but it adds 10-12 hours of gameplay, which some people pay 60 bucks for. I say yes it does count, it is a great addition, that is if you have an xbox 360. Not to tramp on sony fans, but if a game has more to offer on one console verusus the next, then yes I would consider that an element when purchasing which copy of the game I come home with. Cybiotikbut what about the DLC's for Warhawk, MGS4, and Bioshock? shouldn't they count too?

Warhawk and MGS4 are both exclusive games, and the Bioshock content isnt that impressive. I am not counting the Mythic Map Pack for Halo 3 as "OMFG Exclusives" ...but, this is a considerable package...a full game even.
No, why would it? Its like Braid or Wipeout HD, its a downloadable game, they arent counted with full games.EVOLV3its not really a down loadable game since you need GTA4 to play it

the overall DLC for Warhawk is an immense amount of content so why not include that? same with the expansions for MGS4 (although not as much though)[QUOTE="EVOLV3"]No, why would it? No, why would it? Its like Braid or Wipeout HD, its a downloadable game, they arent counted with full games.EVOLV3To be fair, I'm sure I've heard the Lost and the Damned referred to as an 'expansion pack' a countless amount of times. Expansion packs, like Burning Crusade, or Wrath of the Lich King have been scored, as well as other expansion packs to different titles.

Its like this...lets say you have GTA PS3 and GTA 360, if you had both consoles...wouldn't you buy the one that is going to give you a choice for exclusive content...especially if you are a GTA fan. I have GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas for PS2. But when I heard the content for the 360 was exlcusive...well I bought the 360 version. See?

so what difference does it make that one is a multiplat and another is an exclusive? plus they're other factors into which version you would buy[QUOTE="user_nat"]It's not going to be reviewed, but if it was I don't see why it wouldn't count. warhawk for example adds new maps, weapons, modes, etc. same with MGS4. so if gamespot isn't going to review that content but they review the lost and the dammed, how would that be fair?[QUOTE="CaseyWegner"][QUOTE="Panther501"] ok so then lets count the expansion packs for the Sony gamesPanther501

and what does the lost and the damned add?
what does it matter what it adds. its DLC just like the sony games.no i dont think so
even if it does add on 10-20 hours of the same gameplay and comes with a fancy little box

That's what I was going to say.
Maps, weapons, and modes are to be expected. A new ten hour story mode is another game as far as I am concerned.
But I know it will be a well argued debate from either side. At the end of the day, it will be a reason to own a 360 for pontential customers despite what System Wars thinks (kinda like games that 360 shares with PC).

It really shouldn't matter where you get it from, if it has a beginning and end, it should be recognized as a full game.
The GTA DLC is not a full game and should not be counted. It's basically an expansion pack.
And a pretty good one at that.

The Lost and the Damned adds alot more and tells a different story. It is not just DLC, but an Expansion pack
So if say.. Wrath of the Lich King, an expansion pack, was released exclusively on Steam it would no longer count as an AAAE for the PC? I haven't actually played Lost and Damned (and I don't plan to), but my understanding of what it contains is much more then simple DLC, like a map pack or new swimsuits. You also can purchase L&D at retail, in the form of a redeemable download code. None of this actually matters though, because Gamespot has stated they aren't reviewing it.
edit: Random note, Gamespot reviewed shivering isles (the oblivion expansion), that was available as an XBLM download.
Even if it were to get a score here (I doubt that'll happen), I don't see how it could be counted while still excluding XBLA, PSN, and WiiWare offerings. sonicmj1
Don't XBLA games get rated...yes they do, they are full games...not super next gen graphics...but full games. TLD is a full story, just like any other game.

Thats like saying a racing game with a downloadable car is the same as what Rockstar is planning. They are both DLC...that one new car and this whole new story with new weapons, music, modes, characters, story, etc.
