Well if your going by that path (Warhawk & MGS DLC) then what's to stop me from saying there is so much more content attribuited with 360 games. But lets be smarter than that...THOSE ARE MAP PACKS...or an UPDATE to campaign...it is not an EXPANSION PACK...which adds way more content, and which is seen by Gamespot on most games (ie: Fable: Lost Chapters, Fear Files) as reviweable media. And all other major review sites reviewed it aswell. So I think the confusion here is that people can't tell the difference between regular DLC...and Expansion Packs. Cybiotik

I think you nailed it. People are tying up the words "expansion pack" and "dlc".

Just because this "expansion pack" is content that you download.

No they are not in the same category... there is a difference between Add On content...and Expansion pack. You can buy TLD at retail. You can't buy Horse Armour at retail.

Thats like saying a racing game with a downloadable car is the same as what Rockstar is planning. They are both DLC...that one new car and this whole new story with new weapons, music, modes, characters, story, etc.

They may be the same catagory. But they are not the same. Lost and the damned is more of an expasion pack, and should not be listed along side a single map addon for a game. The amount of content should be looked at in this case.

And you seem content that some content that could essentially stand alone gets treated the same as something that barely adds anything to a game. Is this correct? I for one think something that is more of an expansion should be treated much differently than that of a piece of DLC. Yeah you DL both, but what each brings to the table is far different to us gamers.

No one is saying that...we get content everyday, maps, weapons etc...some games...Unreal Tournament for example...hvae updates that gives these things for free...but when they come up with an expansion pack, it is considered a new piece of content...even though it belongs in the latter universe...it's still a whole new aspect of the game. A side story. Its like when I bought GTA Vice city...it was awesome, but should I have turned my back to Vice city stories? Yeah it was released in a box, but you can buy LTD at a retailer.

It's already counted in discussing in which version of GTAIV is better.one_on_one

Well for something like Lost and the Damned that has more beef to it, something like the Halo Map packs are alot cheaper and have less content to it. Something like Lost and the Damned should be reviewed like an exspanson. Smaller 'bite-sized' DLC, should be reviewed, but in a recommend/not recommend/major fans of the game only type.

Why don't we bring Half Life into thise...remeber all the Episodes and Expansions? THey are counted...and are full games...6-8 hours...even less than TLD...(aamzing however ;)) But...they are still counted. If MAC and Windows bot received the games...but windows received the episodes exclusively...wouldnt that mean its the better version to buy..specially if you are a HL fan...I think the GTA content is still hurting in the sony fans' eyes.
