its wierd how people only use gamspot scores here. because on IGN, the ps3 has more AAAE's than the 360 and wii combined.

True the 360 released earlier but it also has made the gap larger since the PS3 release

So again the 360 has the better game library

The 360 is showing Forza 3 at this E3 probably. Forza is a AAA series unlike GT which is a AA series. Also showing Halo : Odst and we all know Halo crushes in score and sales. Plus games like Alan wake, New Rare, peter Molyegue, new Zune that lays all xbl games and so on.

fictional reasons? Many of my friends have had this problem with their xboxes. You mean to tell me you have never heard of 360s causing a really nasty circular scratch on discs and making them unreadable? Any moving or bumping of the 360 when a game is being played can cause this and ive seen it first hand

It's the fact that you assume people go out and rebuy all their games after they have scratched, and that accounts for the increase in software sales.

It's a stretch.

sorry if I tried to make it seem like that was the sole reason for it and it is a stretch as you put it, but the xbox has been known to do this so claiming its fictional is just wrong.

He wasn't claiming the Xbox scratching discs was fictional, everybody knows about it. Just about the rebuying games part, and that inflates the sales.

This is a stretch but there is no possible way it can be proved to be false either, just as the sales figures for the consoles themselves most likely include people purchasing new systems after theirs broke

Like i said i didnt mean to pass it off as fact and I definitely should have included the word maybe. But its a feasible reason why software sales are a little bit inflated, not the reason why it sold almost 9 million obviously. Im not saying that theres really only 4 million in sales and all those got scratched and that 4 million people went and re-bought the game.

Ohh since PS3 games are scoring so high and doing so well let me show SW how well MS games and systems have sold. MS has not had really good exclusive this year. Except for star ocean. I think they need to pick up the pace with the games because thats what I do with the system buy games for it/

it's ninja gaiden black with better graphics and some bonus features. it's not a different game.

Halo Wars is hit and miss. Star Ocean and Velvet Assasin decent. Rest is meh. As a gamer and not a wannabe sales analyst I'd say 360 could use a little boost.

Why exactly is Ninja Gaiden scored as a AAExclusive for the 360 but Ninja Gaiden Sigma is not scored as a AA exclusive for the ps3?
