The game just absolutely puts to shame everything out today. It looks better then the original Crysis and those settings aren't even being close to being maxed out. My only concern is that I won't be able to max it out.

Right?And to think we doubted Crytek and Cryengine 3...This maxed out plus a few modes will put CGi to shame.Thank you Crytek :) BTW you will max it ;)

hyping the PC version 9.5

The Physics effects and particle effects all look top notch. Mind was blown. The rest looked about the same as Crysis 1, though, this footage is not of Crysis 2 maxed out.

I'm still waiting for Crysis 2 maxed out!

Wow it looks amazing. I am glad that it will (should be) much easier to run. I know people will bash it no matter what it looks like, so screw them :P.

I doubt it will look this good on consoles , And i'm pretty sure it will look a lot better than this with DX11 and AA and 1080p etc..... and about the screen tearing .... this is the Beta build and not the actually final build that was leaked and as you can see in the vid , alot of textures are missing .

If that's on medium, then I'm absolutely terrified with what very high looks like. My GTS 450 is contemplating suicide right about now.

Some of the shots show that the quality and resolution of the textures and texture effects are LEAGUES beyond the consoles.

On the consoles they are blurry/lor rez/flat. On the PC, they are detailed, and some of the surfaces sort of POP realistically, they have a nice depth.

Nice. I can't get over the fact that it's a medium settings. Show MAXED SETTINGS SOMEONE! DX11 Tessellated, high rez goodness!

I'm starting to doubt this leak was an accident.Its all really polished and good looking and the thing that is weird in this story is the fact that you can only go up to high settings of DX9,not the highest and not DX11.Why?

I just want to ask something. how many times have we seen a post-apocalyptic new york (or other similar urban areas) this gen? we have seen it in

- prototype

- infamous

- both resistance games

- darksiders

- fallout 3

- the F.E.A.R games (though it isnt technically apocalyptic)

- hell, even halo has had similar settings

so sorry if these environments dont exactly blow my mind.

Videos cannot show the sort of clarity I'm looking for, I won't know until I have it running in front of me; if it's a blur fest or clear enough to suit my tastes.

Right now the cheap edge detect AA in some screenshots is irritating me.

It looks nice but to be honest it looks like the CryEngine 2 if it was updated rather then a new one all together. I'm sure if the game was for PC only it would look way better then it does now since Crytek would not of have to focus on the consoles but I guess as long as it looks better then Crysis and the gameplay is really good that's all it really matters.

You should be fine if you want to play it at high but maybe you'd need a better GPU if u want to max it out with 1080 and AA .

I honestly don't know why are people **** about this?They try to compare medium specs DX9 footage with DX10 with all real life modes Crysis 1.Why?

impressive explosions and overall graphics are very nice but not mind = blown material.

Crytek has always made sure its gameplay has gone hand in hand with its graphics. You can give an opinion on the graphics by just looking at the game, but I can't give a good opinion on the gameplay until I play it. I am just assuming it will be just as good as the gameplay in Crysis.
