OMG Crysis 2 PC footage!

if that is only dx9 on medium setting at 1280x1024 then i am impressed. bring on the demo.

That was one of my favorite parts of Crysis1! I thought it would bea ll graphics but I was honestly blown away by the quality of the sound and how you can go about each mission so differntly each time you play it. The nice graphics were just a plus ot be honest.

Crysis is a DX10/11 game. High isn't the max spec on Crysis 2 IF they follow the same specs as Crysis/Warhead.

Do you even know what DX9 and DX11 is?

Go play Metro on PC on dx9 MEDIUM and then go play on VERY HIGH and DX11. Its a totally differnt experience and looks MUCH better.

I had a dx9/dx10 card before and played Metro once on it (medium dx9) and then got a DX11 card and played it on high/Dx11 and looks amazing.

Crysis VERY HIGH settings and DX11 will look alot better then MEDIUM and DX9, trust me.

This gameplay is not medium, it's high. We haven't seen very high yet though.

So far, this game hasn't really brought the wow factor for me. Still prefer Crysis 1 so far

This. I thought the guy who made the video said it was High DX9? But as with most games on PC, Very high settings are usually not that much better than high and the same probably goes for medium to high. low to medium however is huge. DX11 makes all the difference when done right.

People who say there is not much difference between DX9 and DX11 obviously dont own a gaming pc. Because DX11 makes a huge difference.

What do you "when done right"? I plan on upgrading to windows 7 and getting a better card for DX 11 cause my 4870 won't cut it. Its sad cause Crysis and Warhead looked amazing with DX9 and my 4870.

In the beginning of Crysis. When you crawl on the shore did you see the famous grey rocks? Those things had horrible textures.

lol that is NOT what I mean. I am saying that some games implement the features better than others, and we have yet to see how well crytek has done. I imagine it is glorious though :P. I just upgraded my GPU to a GTX 570 and I am running windows 7, so I am pretty sure I will be able to run this game at least silky smooth on medium settings, if not high.

Crysis 1 amazing looking, but people act like it has no flaws. It does have flaws and Crysis 2 will as well :P.
