what a pity for Crytek ... I was going to wait for the game to come out for a while before purchasing ... but this grinds my gears so much that it will now be a PC pre-order for me.

Even though it is an old beta build, this sort of betrayal has got to hurt even more than the prirating that happens after a game comes out! Damn you pirates do you not see you are killing the premier gaming platform that is PC?

anyways, this is just insane. these *medium settings* look on par with the consoles best looking games, even killzone 3 for the most part.... man, medium settings :shock:

I'm sorry but this is pretty crazy :P This may sound a bit overboard, but this game could get pretty close to photorealism at max settings, besides ray tracing and a few other things.

I can't wait to play this game, the only thing now is to hope that it lives up to the original in the gameplay area.

The intro video spoils nothing, it's just like the one we saw in Crysis :)

The king is back baby! I know some people on this forum will torrent and play this but I beg you to buy the released game, actually have max settings, and also get the awesome multiplayer. And yeah, to think that even on medium settings it surpasses the console graphics kings with ease, the max settings and a few mods will blow them sky high, just like the first Crysis did.ocstew

Let's not go too far. If it surpasses everything on the consoles, it certainly isn't by a landslide. just a tad.

at high, though, it will destroy all the best looking console games, and at max, will look next gen in comparison, and create a black hole of destruction above console games :P
