Well even though i pretty much know the bad opinions every core gamer in this forum has against the OUYA, i thought i'd just check in and see if anyone had a change of heart and reserved one for themselves.

Mine is bought and paid for, and i look forward to using it to amuse myself until my PS4 comes out, i've sifted through there current titles and picked what i think are the best, and most fun entertaining games to buy and download.

I just hope people realize your allowed to have fun playing video games on a console that doesn't say Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo on the box.

Seriously you guy's need to grow up, it's not meant to be a serious competitor to the the big 3, it's just an alternative to play while we wait for new Xbox and PS4 libraries to build up or if they have a bit of a game drought......THATS ALL. You guy's take your game consoles way too seriously....OUYA's new, cheap, and has over 150 games ready to play out of the box...what is so terrible? The Tegra 3 is capable of 360 looking graphics,,,it's nothing to turn your nose up at.....give it a chance.

Oh you can play over 150 NEW titles on your 360 and PS3?....i don't think so, you'll most likely have to play the same tired games everyone has played 100 times over for the past 5 years.

If he hasn't bought and played them yet, then they are new to him. So yes, he can go out and buy 150 new PS3/360 games. As can I.

So far i've seen emulators for Gameboy, NES, SNES, N-64, PS-1, Neo-Geo, and Sega....All these emulators on one console is enough reason right there to pick it up...let alone all the android ports and exclusives coming to OUYA, it even has an XBOX port "The Bards Tale" available to download as of a few weeks ago. None of these entices any of you so called core gamers? BULL...i don't believe it.

Really your Samsung galaxy 2 has OUYA exclusives, it has 6 classic console emulators on it, and you can plug in a USB 500gb hard drive to it? Let me ask you this, was your Samsung phone a mere $99?,,,i doubt it.

2 of them your a funny guy......i believe the kickstarter site set a record with OUYA hitting a whopping 9 million in donations, and shipping the initial start up units to it's over 15,000 customers who ordered it, not counting the dev kit models and reserves that were shipped.

I ordered the gamepop. I rather pay 6.99 a month and get tons of free games instead of paying that or more amount for one game on the ouya.

That's more due to the power of Kickstarter. Once you reach enough stupid people you can pick up enough money for just about anything.

The battery in your phone will die, the OUYA is plugged in 24/7 like any other console, so while your waiting to recharge your phone to play your games, i'll still be playing my OUYA games in HD on my " 50 INCH PLASMA TV".

I also won't have to rely on a wi-fi connection to play any OUYA games online like your cell phone will, the OUYA will be hard wired.

I see the OP is serious.

Sell me on it man.  I'll admit, I know very little about the system.  As a guy with a very capable PC (with all the emulators I care for), a PS3, a WiiU (ditched the 360 a while back) and soon to be a 3DS owner... what does the OUYA offer for me?

Not trolling you, serious question.  If the system offers something that sparks my interest I'll pick it up.

what is funny is that i can't imagine one mobile game i would rather play than solitaire during the  rare times i'm sitting around waiting away from my home for something and solitaire (and hundreds of other games)  comes free with every phone.

it's like no matter what comes out on ouya it won't beat some little game i can get for free on android anyway once you consider you are not ever going to be playing it for longer than a 5 minute stretch.

also i literally cannot believe anyone expects me to play phone games on my 60 inch tv.

and ones that will have a free equivalent in 90% of the cases at that.

Well you can literally try hundreds of indie games and various android and console ports for free, alot of games are even free to own. It comes with a Tegra 3 processor and 8gb of storage out of the box, which you can expand with any USB hard drive. A controller similar in style and feel to a 360 controller is also included. The OUYA store literally updates with a minimum of 5 to 8 games a week. All games run in HD, and the system is as small as a rubiks cube so it doesn't use up much space. It's also free to play games online, plus the console syncs up with a 360 or PS3 controller easily to play multiplayer games fast and easy. Just plug in the HDMI, the ethernet and power cables and your ready to play. All this for just $99, where else will you find all that for $99...come on.

Oh wait, you're serious? I can use my phone just fine plugged into the wall. But why would I want to play phone games anyway? PC has a lot of the games that are on phones now and better indie titles anyways. It's not worth the $100 to me.

Stfu. Go see Titan Fall.

LOL..I saw Titanfall at E3....Yawn....i would easily play my OUYA before touching any game on that crappy Xbox-One.

Titanfall was praised on Giantbomb's E3 podcast by GiantBomb staff as well as developers. I'm pretty sure they know better than you. I am with you on the Ouya but you make yourself look bad when you associate yourself with foolish statements.

Titanfall might very well be a great game, but i am one of those many people that were disgusted by Microsofts May press conference and then just down right nausiated by the E3 conference especially after Sony dealt the humiliating last blow....i want nothing to do with Xbox-One.

Well I don't own an android or any smartphone for that matter.  Not an issue of affording one I just don't care.  I was also one of the last people on Earth still using a pager after others moved onto cell phones lol.

So I suppose that would open up a new avenue of games for me.  And 100 bucks is nothing as long as it offers something (enjoyable) that I cant find on other platforms I own.

Do you have any links so I can check out the library?
