[QUOTE="Slimmin360"] Ah-ha...So you "assumed" they would use the same marketplace...ever hear about the mistake of assuming, when you assume, you make an ASS-of-U-& ME, which of course spells assume. So don't get mad at the OUYA people or the system itself because you just jumped to conclusions, when it came to the marketplace...thats your fault. By OUYA using there own marketplace, they ensure that customers can only buy from them and play on there device, actually it's a smart move as far as profits go.HadOne2Many
Yes, I made a logical assumption based on the information provided to me by Ouya. It was a gamble, and I lost $100. I feel cheated though because Ouya was unclear and not forthcoming when it came to Google Play. That wasn't the only thing they were misleading about. Take a look at this screenshot from the Kickstarter:

Want to guess at how many of those games are actually available? One. Canabalt. Well, maybe two. I don't know what that lumberjack looking game is, it might be there.
Back to the other issues with the controller, buttons sticking is only part of the problem. Overall it feels cheap. There are still deadzone issues too. Luckily I have a few PS3 and 360 controllers to use, but I don't want to lose the touch function...oh wait. Nevermind, the touchpad blows. Don't take my word for it, just read some reviews. They are not very positive.
Ok i take your word for it,but it does sound like you have the original controller, so you have a free replacement coming to you, secondly, i don't expect every game they advertised as coming to the OUYA to be there from day one, after all the OUYA's official launch is not until June 25th, and alot of games can still be oncoming. However they were the first to admit, as recently as E3 actually that, they are a small company and there going to make mistakes, which is why they put out the dev kits and kickstarter units to the public a.s.a.p. after production.
To get all the feedback from dev's and customers in order to make corrections to both the hardware and G.U.I. and game library by the systems OFFICIAL release. What you have is basically an unfinished OUYA, which is why i waited for the retail version, because i suspected there would be various hardware and software issues to be ironed out, and from the latest reports...they have been.
The controller buttons plates have been fixed, the OUYA's O.S. had a major update which resolved any lag and hard to find items that people had issues with, and i'm sure as time goes on they'll make even more corrections. You have to cut them some slack, there only a newly founded 22 employee startup company, starting in one of the toughest markets to be in to begin with.
