[QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"][QUOTE="D_Znuhtz"][QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"][QUOTE="verbalfilth"]Why would you even compare the two?
Unreal Tournament is just untouchable when it comes to online multiplayer....especially the speed. XD
D_Znuhtz
again, making speed the determining factor...that is simpy a matter of preference. both games feel right after an adjustment period. you really get used to both...if you want to get used to both.
This whole thread is about preference. Wtf is your point? Find a new bullet point to hammer on.
people often attempt to pass off preference as fact. or hadn't you noticed. example:
"Unreal Tournament is just untouchable" - opinion, presented as fact.
Had he said "in my opinion", that would have been fair. But as you can see, he didn't present it like that.
But you get an "C" for effort. Better than nothing.
This whole thread is ALL BASED ON OPINION. It is a game vs game thread, which means its PURELY BASED ON OPINIONS. Do you think somewhere down the line Halo 3 and UT 3 will step into the squared circle to decide once and for all who the champion is? IT WILL ALWAYS BE OPINIONS, IT WILL ALWAYS BE PREFERENCE. He said he prefers fast games, so he likes UT3. Someone else prefers slow games, so they prefer Halo. It is all a matter of preference. Nowhere did anyone say that something being "untouchable" is a fact  He obviously doesn't have to say "in my opinion" because the whole bloody thread is about opinion.
You get an F for effort, since we're keeping score.
 whatever makes you feel better. everything here is not always opinion, nor is it always fact. if you don't premise or end your statements by stating it's your opinion, then it is perceived that you're stating a fact. Stating that UT is faster is a fact. stating that it's better because of it is an opinion.
Your grade is now a D, as you fail to comprehend that we deal in both facts and opinions, and even in his statement there were absoltue facts mixed with pure opinions...yet all was presented as fact.
Try again.
