The game is easily worth the $15 they are selling it for. Everything about the game is better than Source or 1.6. At least IMO.

When people say it's been 8 years since the last CS game they mean it's been 8 years since the last CS game and now is a good time for a revamp. They're not implying that Valve has been working on this game ever since they released the last CS game they're saying it's been a while since the last CS game and now's a pretty optimal time for a revamp for the series.

Saying they've been working on this game for 8 years straight is pulling a Duke Nukem Forever and even then that's still stupid reasoning.

You obviously know nothing about CS if you really believe that.. plus the game is 15 US.. not anywhere near the 60 the other rehashers charge...
