Silly hermit to bad you dont do much research are you would know HL2 on the 360 is a port of the orginal xbox version with nicer textures and 1080p support. EP2 on the other hand looks outstanding and actually looks as good as a pc running it on max. Read the IGN reveiw if you dont belive me as gamespot failed to elaborate that the full version of HL2 is just a updated xbox 1 port.

He also managed to cram a contradiction in there. His point is that all the hermits' arguements for the PC version's superiority are merely based on opinion. But he acknowledges it's a fact that the PC graphics are better.

Actually, that quote was reffering to the whole package. They said ep. 1 & 2 looked better on pc.

If you read the review again, you will see that they said Half Life 2 looks better on 360 because of new lighting effects.

Don't take my word for it though, just go read it.

Seriously, the game looks great. I will be getting it for my 360 and If I can buy Team fortress as a stand alone for my PC (I assume i can) I will do that.

[This just in: TF2 costs $30 as a stand alone. Ouch. That is $10 too much, sorry. Guess the PC purchase will have to wait.]

plz stop this "omg, 5 games value" crap... its not 5 games.

its 1 4 year old game with its expantions, and no multiplayer, that can be finished in 15 hours,plus a team based mutiplayer only game, that is too lacking in content to stand on its own, and a two hour tech demo for the hl2 game engine.

nothing more really then a collectors edtion repackaging. at least they threw in tf2 so it has at least some kind of replay value for 60 buck, as limited as the maps and modes are in tf2.

In terms of *just the 360*, it will probably hit a million or 2...but nothing will eclipse Halo 3 on that console. But in terms of overall sales, TOB is on 3 systems. And again...STEAM is major.

9.5 is exactly what I expected. I would have put money on it.

not really....the PC version has full controller support, 32 players in TF2 (as apposed to 16 on the 360), better graphics (even according to the GS review), its cheaper, and has a very large library of mods to choose from, as well as user created maps for games like team fortress 2.

I dont like huge multiplayer games. 8 on 8 is fine with me. Console is plugNplay no time for cinfiguring a controller and then finding its not as responsive as a real console controler. I dont like moded maps or so much control as that makes it way too easy for hackers...But still......Good try..;)

It will probably sell around 3-4 million on the PC and about a million on the consoles. It will be a big hit, no doubt, but not a $170 million in the first day kind of hit.

And I don't see it selling a million by the end of the day. That's a bit of a stretch.

Are you kidding me? You don't think reviewers played the bejeezus out of CS:Source and other HL2 online mods before they scored it? HL2 is simply not that good of a game. There are far better FPS out there. Far Cry was superb compared to a lackluster HL2, FEAR blew the pants off HL2 gameplay a year later, RB6V just crapped on everything that ever came out.
